Danny Gutierrez (Socalman) - Driver, #08 & Co-Chief Executive Officer

Danny Gutierrez (Socalman) was hired to be the driver for BBBS Motorsports' #45 Dodge for the NRL Sprint Cup Series on January 14, 2010, with the option of rides in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide & Craftsman Truck Series as desired.  His early success earned a leadership role as Co-Chief Executive Officer as well as a share of ownership in the team.  Gutierrez has over ten years experience racing on both asphalt and dirt short tracks in southern California, where he resides.

In the 2010 NuffWORLD VSU Cup Series season, Gutierrez started 27 races, recording two top five finishes, seven top ten finishes, 830 laps led, a 15.0 average start, a 15.6 average finish, 15 races running at the finish, eight lead lap finishes, and a 14th place finish in the standings.  In the 2011 NuffWORLD VSU Cup Series season, Gutierrez started eight races, recording one top ten finish, 394 laps led, a 12.4 average start, a 16.0 average finish, thee races running at the finish, one lead lap finish, and a 36th place finish in the standings.  In the 2012 NuffWORLD VSU Cup Series season, Gutierrez started 30 races, recording two wins (Chicagoland, Charlotte), five top five finishes, 12 top ten finishes, 161 laps led, an 18.9 average start, a 15.7 average finish, 17 races running at the finish, seven lead lap finishes, and an 18th place finish in the standings.

In the 2011 NuffWORLD Pure Sim Series season, Gutierrez started 33 races, recording three wins (Daytona, Las Vegas, Bristol), 14 top five finishes, 18 top ten finishes, one pole, an 8.4 average start, a 17.6 average finish, 29 races running at the finish, 18 lead lap finishes, and a 10th place finish in the standings.  In the 2012 NuffWORLD Pure Sim Series, Gutierrez started 31 races, recording two wins (Pocono, Bristol), eight top five finishes, 16 top ten finishes, 221 laps led, a 13.9 average start, a 10.7 average finish, 26 races running at the finish, and 15 lead lap finishes, and finished 12th place in the standings.  

In the 2012 NuffWORLD Shootout Series season, Gutierrez started seven races, recording one win (Richmond), three top five finishes, seven top ten finishes, two poles, a 5.1 average start, a 5.9 average finish, seven races running at the finish, three lead lap finishes, and a 6th place finish in the standings.  In the 2012b NuffWORLD Shootout Series season, Gutierrez started two races, recording one top five finish, two top ten finishes, a 3.5 average start, a 5.0 average finish, one race running at the finish, and a 15th place finish in the standings.

In the 2010 NuffWORLD Winter Series season, Gutierrez started nine races, recording seven top five finishes, seven top ten finishes, 157 laps led, a 6.9 average finish, eight races running at the finish, seven lead lap finishes, and an 8th place finish in the standings.  In the 2011 NuffWORLD Winter Series season, Gutierrez started four races, recording three top ten finishes, two poles, 13 laps led, a 2.5 average start, a 9.8 average finish, three races running at the finish, and a 15th place finish in the standings.  In the 2012 NuffWORLD Winter Series standings, Gutierrez started seven races, recording four top ten finishes, eight laps led, a 12.4 average start, an 11.0 average finish, five races running at the finish, four lead lap finishes, and a finish of 15th place in the standings.

In the 2011 Premium Racing Online (PRO) Series, Gutierrez started 33 races, recording one top five finish, 16 top ten finishes, 25 laps led, a 15.3 average start, an 11.8 average finish, 22 races running at the finish, and six lead lap finishes.  In the 2012 Premium Racing Online (PRO) Series, Gutierrez started 32 races, recording a victory in the Daytona 500, 12 top five finishes (up from one top five finish in 2011), 24 top ten finishes, 101 laps led, a 12.7 average start, an 8.6 average finish, 31 races running at the finish, and 24 lead lap finishes. 

In the 30+ Racing League Nationwide Tuesday Series, Gutierrez ran a limited schedule in three subseasons - Summer 2012, Fall 2012, and Winter 2012.  In the Summer 2012 30+ Racing League Nationwide Tuesday Series, Gutierrez started four races recording one top five finish, three top ten finishes, an 11.0 average start, an 8.8 average finish, four races running at the finish, one lead lap finish, and a 22nd place finish in the standings.  In the Fall 2012 30+ Racing League Nationwide Tuesday Series, Gutierrez started ten races, recording one win (Phoenix), six top five finishes, eight top ten finishes, one pole, 130 laps led, a 7.1 average start, a 5.4 average finish, ten lead lap finishes, eight lead lap finishes, and a 2nd place finish in the standings.  In the Winter 2012 30+ Racing League Nationwide Tuesday Series, Gutierrez started seven races, recording one win (Daytona), four top five finishes, five top ten finishes, 41 laps led, a 5.7 average start, a 6.9 average finish, six races running at the finish, five lead lap finishes, and a 4th place finish in the standings.  

In the 30+ Racing League Sprint Cup Thursday Series, Gutierrez ran a limited schedule in two subseasons - Fall 2012 and Winter 2012.  In the Fall 2012 30+ Racing League Sprint Cup Thursday Series, Gutierrez started one race, recording one win (Texas), one top five finish, one top ten finish, one pole, 89 laps led, a 1.0 average start, a 1.0 average finish, one race running at the finish, one lead lap finish, and a 26th place finish in the standings.  In the Winter 2012 30+ Racing League Sprint Cup Thursday Series, Gutierrez started three races, recording two top five finishes, three top ten finishes, a 7.7 average start, a 5.0 average finish, three races running at the finish, two lead lap finishes, and a 13th place finish in the standings.

In the HD Sim Racing HD Sim Series, Gutierrez started 16 races, recording three wins (Darlington, Bristol, Michigan), nine top five finishes, 13 top ten finishes, 312 laps led, an 11.5 average start, a 6.5 average finish, 13 races running at the finish, 11 lead lap finishes, and a 4th place finish in the standings.

In Race Sim Nation Halls on Post-7 Series, Gutierrez started seven races, recording one win, three top five finishes, six top ten finishes, and a 4th place finish in the standings.

In the Friday Night Thunder Series, Gutierrez started one races, recording one top five finish and one top ten finish.

In iRacing, Gutierrez started 34 races in 2012, recording two wins, 14 top five finishes, eight poles, and 92 laps led.
