Clough Officially Introduced as Crew Chief; Crossing Oceans Aboard as Associate Sponsor for Sprint Cup, Nationwide, & Trucks

BBBS Motorsports, Inc. officially introduced John Clough as the crew chief
for the #76 Dodge in the Nuff Racing League's Sprint Cup Series, the
FNTS Nationwide Series, and th FNTS Camping World Truck Series, at a
Wednesday morning press conference. Owner/driver Joshua Biddle
opened the press conference by briefly stating that Clough was hired on
the spot following his interview and that he would be turning the microphone over to him.
Clough started off by thanking the media for attending and opened with a personal statement - "It's a thrilling opportunity I've been given, to see a fledgling racing operation rise from the ashes of the PFL PC Madden League. I hope to bring my strengths and experiences to this organization, and form a bond that will lead to the collection of many checkered flags and trophies!"
Asked about Clough's qualifications as crew chief, Biddle responded "it's mainly just a hunch. I'm a rookie driver and he's a rookie crew chief, so there will be some growing pains, that is understood. But he has a fundamental understanding of NASCAR and the underlying strategies and that was the basic skill set we were looking for. He also knows what not to do, and that has come from watching David Stremme and Dale Jr. behind the wheel; missing pit boxes, random spin outs, blaming others for one's own shortcomings, and the list goes on. He knows what to do and what not to do and that goes for me as well, so we'll see where these basic skills
lead us."
In addition to the announcement of Clough as crew chief, Clough also made a big announcement that his band - Crossing Oceans - will be an
associate sponsor for BBBS Motorsports' #76 Dodge in all three Nuff
Racing League series. It was also announced that it will be the primary
sponsor and have a special Sprint Cup car that will compete in September's Chevy Rock and Roll 400 at Richmond (Sprint Cup).
Clough stated "It is with great pleasure that Crossing Oceans announces its affiliation with Nuff Racing League's newest team, BBBS Motorsports. With their proven success in the PFL PC Madden League, the owner/driver(s) of BBBS will surely be spending a great deal of time in victory lane, and Crossing Oceans will be right there, celebrating with its favorite team!
Look for some exciting (and expensive) cross-promotions in the future, some of which will be announced on this website, as well as on ours: www.myspace.com/crossingoceans or www.crossingoceansband.com. (Also check us out on Facebook).
Just to give you a glimpse of some the of great opportunities this relationship between motorsports and music can afford fans, be on the lookout at future Crossing Oceans shows. You never know when a famous driver from a certain Racing League might show up to greet race fans and sign autographs!"
