2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #26 of 36 - This Is How We Roll II at Richmond International Raceway - Danny Gutierrez Records 9th Place Finish; Braxton Pearce (xo Twenty ox) 21st Place, Joshua Biddle 23rd of 25 Racers
9/11/2010 - Danny Gutierrez headlined BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s efforts in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' This Is How We Roll II at Richmond International Raceway, finishing a steady 9th place after starting 15th. The 9th place finish is Gutierrez's fifth top ten of the season in 21 starts (5 provisionals), and came via a 3rd place finish of 7 racers on Track B, finishing the race on the lead lap. Braxton Pearce and Joshua Biddle both struggled and had poor performances, finishing 21st and 23rd place, respectively, out of 25 racers. Pearce finished 4th of 4 racers on Track C, spinning out with a loose setup and eventually having to take his car to the garage after only 128 laps of the 400 lap event. Biddle fared much worse on Track A as Sewilta's car got loose, overcorrected into the wall, and came down the race track in front of Biddle's car resulting in heavy contact for the #76 Crossing Oceans Dodge. The car was immediately taken to the garage and retired from the event, completing only 102 of the 400 laps, and affiliate Sewilta's car wouldn't last too much longer with the severe front end damage, lasting only ten more laps.
"Bummer for the #76 team to have to head to garage barely a quarter into the race, but we gave it our best effort and it just wasn't good enough," said a disheartened Biddle, "we need to get our act together. The accident may not have been our fault, but if we were up near the front this type of thing may not have happened, so we need to get these cars up to snuff if we're going to have a chance in the Chase."
Following Richmond, both Pearce and Biddle prepare for round one of the NRL Sprint Cup Series Chase for the Sprint Cup. Neither won a race this season, so they will enter the Chase tied for 4th seed (-100 of leader). Gutierrez falls one spot from 15th to 16th place (-178 of 13th place).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Chase Race #5 of 8 (Race #16 of 19) - Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega Superspeedway - Chaser Joshua Biddle Records 2nd Career Camping World Truck Series Top Five with 4th Place Finish; Chaser Danny Gutierrez 9th Place, Braxton Pearce (xo Twenty ox) 10th Place of 11 Racers in Series Debut After Both Run Out of Gas Early
9/7/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded his second career NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series top five finish with a 4th place finish in the Mountain Dew 250 at Talladega Superspeedway, recording a good finish after a very poor start to the race. Biddle lost the draft early and never could catch up since the other racers did a great job of keeping the race green in its entirety. Biddle's main competition was with djdealeyo for 4th place, though djdealeyo held the position for the majority of the race with Biddle trailing behind in 5th, too far behind to catch his draft. Biddle was able to get past him after he waited an extra lap to pit on the first two pit stops versus when djdealeyo pitted, resulting in Biddle being able to take only a splash of fuel on the final pit stop while djdealeyo had to take more fuel and have a longer pit stop. "It was a pretty bad run for us today," said Biddle, "but we didn't spin or make any other mistakes other than lose the draft, so we'll take it. Feels good to get a top five no matter how it's done."
Danny Gutierrez and Braxton Pearce - who made his first start in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series - both ran out of fuel at the same point prior to the
first round of pit stops, ending an unfortunate day.
In the Camping World Truck Series driver standings, Biddle gained two positions and moved from 5th place to 3rd place (-86 of leader) while Gutierrez gained a
position and moved from 3rd place to 2nd place (-75 of leader). The moves in position were influenced by the fact that Rowdybowler20 - the series leader entering the race - and chaser dueceydueceydu both missed the race
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Chase Race #4 of 8 (Race #15 of 19) - Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway - Chaser Danny Gutierrez Records 4th Place Finish; Chaser Joshua Biddle 8th Place of 13 Racers After Late Wreck with Bottlejuice, Apologizes
8/31/2010 - Danny Gutierrez quietly recorded a very good 4th place finish in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series' Kroger 200 at Martinsville Speedway, staying out of trouble and capitalizing on others' mistakes to capture his NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series best 8th top five finish in 11 starts (72.7% top five percentage). Joshua Biddle ran well for most of the race, surprisingly staying near the front of the field. Late in the race, most leaders went down pit road under caution while Biddle stayed out for track position. After another late caution that would result in the green flag with ten laps to go, Biddle restarted third but would get into rival Bottlejuice after overdriving the corner, careening both cars into the wall. Both cars would finish at the tail end of the lead lap with Bottlejuice finishing 7th and Biddle 8th.
Following the race, Biddle was disappointed in himself for choking in an opportunity to record a rare top five finish, and for getting into another racer and ruining his day. Biddle said, "not a fun situation to see a great finish just fall right out of your hands. It's like dropping a first down pass. And although my team has had issues with Bottlejuice, it's never fun nor a good feeling to screw somebody over who was formidable all day. He raced well and deserved to be up front, and I got overaggressive wanting to maintain that top five and blew it. I spoke with him after the race and we both understood it was a racing deal, but still bummed about it. I turned a corner over the past week in realizing I need to be more aggressive and lose the passive mentality, but this certainly isn't at all what I had in mind. We'll move on and get ready for the trucks at [Talladega] and see what we have."
In the Camping World Truck Series driver standings, Gutierrez gains one position and moves from 4th place to a tie for 3rd place (-120 of leader). Biddle remains in 5th place (-153 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #25 of 36 - Pep Boys 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway - Braxton Pearce Records Second Consecutive Top Five Finish With 5th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Disappoints With 15th Place Finish of 20 Racers
8/28/2010 - Braxton Pearce impressed again, finishing 5th place in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Pep Boys 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, his second consecutive top five finish in NRL Sprint Cup Series racing. Though Pearce finished the race one lap down, his 4th place finish of 13 racers on Track A was good enough to earn his 4th top five and 14th top ten of the season. Joshua Biddle disappointed by finishing in 15th place out of 20 racers (11th of 13 on Track A), finishing the race a whopping 19 laps down following extreme damage to his #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger. Biddle and Pearce both suffered damage mid-race when the car of Kapalua2483 - who was running in third at the time - spun entering turn one and slid up the track. Biddle and Pearce - running 4th and 5th, respectively - took evasive action, with Biddle attempting to shoot the gap between Kapalua's drifting car and the wall, but the hole closed quickly with Kapalua's #20 Chevrolet drifting up the track and striking the left front of Biddle's car, turning him into the wall hard. Pearce's car also received damage in the incident, certainly affecting the speed of his #07 Camping World Chevrolet Impala, but he was able to finesse it to the end quite successfully. On the incident, Biddle said, "it's disappointing since this was our first real run with the guys on Track A in which we were near the front and in contention, so it is a bummer when you are taken out by somebody else's mistake, but that's racing. You have to have the setup, the skill, and good luck to win one of these things and good luck was definitely lacking for our team today."
Trouble also plagued BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s allies at Make 'em Cry Motorsports, with metsrule2000 - who was running strong all day - and Bitten Buns getting into trouble during the race. Metsrule2000 and Bitten Buns both received significant damage after getting into an incident with future Make 'em Cry racer Sewilta, causing a fury on and off the track. Metsrule2000 finished the race 14th overall, 17 laps down and Bitten Buns 6th, 3 laps down. The gear package provided by Pearce helped propel BBBS Motorsports and Make 'em Cry, but damage was the main culprit in keeping the teams running to their full potential.
In the Sprint Cup standings, Pearce stays in 7th place (-1055 of leader) and Biddle remains in 9th (-1143 of leader). Danny Gutierrez remains in 15th place (-1726 of leader) after receiving a 25 point provisional for prequalifying but not racing. He was unable to race due to his truck racing commitments in California.
BBBS Motorsports Releases Driver Andrew Mitchell (TautestAndrew) Following Intentional Wrecking Incident in NRL Pure Sim Series Race at Atlanta, Subsequently Banned From NRL; Team Issues Apology
8/27/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. released driver Andrew Mitchell on Friday afternoon following an intentional wrecking incident in the NRL Pure Sim Series' Pep Boys 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Thursday night. Mitchell, tired of hearing the banter of xX Chuck1979 Xx, took matters into his own hands and wrecked the NRL Pure Sim Series points leader, though it did not cause Chuck much damage and he was able to continue on and finish 5th in the event and maintain his points lead. After a discussion with commissioner mwils1, who was racing and a witness/official during the event, the BBBS Motorsports front office officially severed ties with the former NRL Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck Series driver.
This is not the first time that an intentional wrecking incident has marred a Nuff Racing League event during the 2010 season, with BBBS Motorsports' Danny Gutierrez on the receiving end of retaliation from Bottlejuice in a Camping World Truck Series Chase for the Cup race less than a month ago. NRL Administration immediately issued a global warning that any subsequent incidents involving intentional wrecking would result in expulsion from the league. Still, Mitchell believed his actions were justified and requested only a one race suspension, though the absurd request was denied and he was officially banned from the league on Friday evening. "I'm very happy to see Andrew Mitchell banned from the Nuff Racing League," owner/driver Joshua Biddle said via conference call, "after discussing Thursday night's events with the commissioner, I am disgusted by Andrew's behavior and sincerely hope he is never permitted to drive in the Nuff Racing League again. He was told several times not to retaliate and was informed of what the proper procedure was to file a complaint against Chuck if that was the route he wanted to take, but he decided vigilante justice was best and look where it got him. Not only is he banned, but Chuck got a top five and is still the points leader so I hope his little temper tantrum was worth it in his mind because he just looks like an idiot to anybody with a lick of common sense."
BBBS Motorsports also apologized publicly to all Nuff racers as a whole, especially Chuck, DiscJockey24, and the entire Udda Mudda Fuddas organization for the behavior of Andrew. "Our team in no way, shape, or form, wants to be associated as an organization that supports [that] sort of behavior," the statement said.
Mitchell finishes his Nuff career with BBBS Motorsports with the following statistics:
Sprint Cup - 6 starts, 0 poles, 0 wins, 0 top 5s, 1 top 10, 20.3 avg start, 17.2 avg finish, 73.86% laps complete, 42 laps lead, 2 lead lap finish, 2 running at finish; 42nd place in Sprint Cup standings.
Nationwide - 7 starts, 0 poles, 0 wins, 1 top 5, 5 top 10s, 9.3 avg start, 8.4 avg finish, 87.83% laps complete, 16 laps lead, 2 lead lap finish, 5 running at finish; 20th in Nationwide Series standings.
Camping World Truck - 5 starts (1 provisional), 0 poles, 0 wins, 1 top 5, 3 top 10s, 8.4 avg start, 10.0 avg finish, 71.91% laps complete, 4 laps lead, 2 lead lap finish, 3 running at finish; 17th in Camping World Truck Series standings.
Pure Sim Series - 3 starts, 0 poles, 0 wins, 0 top 5s, 1 top 10, 16 avg start, 29.3 avg finish, 71.56% laps complete, 238 laps lead, 1 lead lap finish, 1 running at finish; 60th in Pure Sim Series standings
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Chase Race #5 of 8 (Race #27 of 30) - Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway - Chaser Danny Gutierrez Records 2nd Place Finish; Chaser Joshua Biddle 7th Place, Andrew Mitchell 10th Place of 12 Racers
8/25/2010 - Danny Gutierrez continued his unlikely run at the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Championship, finishing 2nd place after starting 5th in the Dollar General 300 at Charlotte Motor Speedway while points leader Kapalua2483 finished 8th of 12 racers following a crash on the race's final lap. Kapalua was racing hard on the final lap following a late restart, blocking to minimize the damage on what certainly looked to be a dire points day, when he was run over by J MAN IZ PRO and sent into the outside wall between turns three and four, allowing Joshua Biddle to pass and secure a 7th place finish out of 12 racers after starting 9th. Biddle previously had a shot to pass Kapalua, but once Kapalua came down to block, Biddle mistakenly let off the gas. "I need to get more aggressive and stop being so conservative," said a disappointed Biddle following the race, "I owed it to my teammate to race Kap as hard as I could and help him in the points and I shouldn't have let off. I mean we ended up getting the position, but still, it's disappointing that I made a bad decision on the fly but it's a lesson learned moving forward." Andrew Mitchell finished in 10th place after starting 6th, losing his engine on lap 85 of 100.
In the Nationwide Series driver standings, Gutierrez remains in 2nd place and cut Kapalua's points lead to 47 points with three races to go, gaining 23 points in the race. Biddle remains in 4th place (-178 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #24 of 36 - Sharpie 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway - Braxton Pearce Scores Career-Best 3rd Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Notches Top Ten Finish with 8th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 12th Place, Andrew Mitchell 21st of 27 Racers; Pearce & Biddle Clinch Chase for the Sprint Cup Berths
8/21/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. had a solid day at Bristol Motor Speedway in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Sharpie 500, with Braxton Pearce bringing home a career-best 3rd place finish and Danny Gutierrez recording a top ten of his own for the team. Pearce finished 3rd place via a 3rd place finish of 14 on Track A after starting 2nd and Gutierrez finished 8th via an 8th place finish of 14 on Track A after starting 10th. The racing on Track A was fierce with paint being traded on a regular basis. Fireworks erupted after the race with xX Chuck1979 Xx confronting Pearce and accusing him of racing him too hard while a lap down. Pearce led 48 of 500 laps on Track A while Gutierrez led two laps of 500 during the race, both earning five bonus points for having led one lap in the event. Joshua Biddle ran fairly well on Track B, but his luck ran out after suffering damage following many successful attempts to avoid crashes throughout the course of the race, finishing 3rd of 13 on Track B for a 12th place finish overall. Biddle was running 4th of 13 on Track B but late trouble for Kelley1968 thanks to an EASports glitch caused him to do a right turn into the outside wall and then stall in the apron, falling as many laps down as Biddle and then getting passed by Biddle, who maintained his lead on Kelley coming to the checkered. "It's a bummer to see somebody who was battling for the lead for much of the race lose a lead lap finish on a technicality like that," Biddle said, "it's a shame, but he's a championship contender and everyone knows he'll rebound from this." Biddle led two laps and earned five bonus points for the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants team. Andrew Mitchell ran very well while he was running on Track B, leading 18 laps before taking the car behind the wall and parking due to other commitments. Mitchell was officially scored having completed 314 of 500 laps.
In the Sprint Cup standings, Pearce remains in 7th place (-1020 of leader) and Biddle remains in 9th place (-1071 of leader), both clinching berths in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Chase for the Sprint Cup. Gutierrez remains in 15th place (-1556 of leader), continuing his solid production despite running a part-time schedule on the Sprint Cup circuit.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Chase Race #4 of 8 (Race #26 of 30) - Chaser Danny Gutierrez WINS the Copart 300 at Auto Club Speedway!!!! Chaser Joshua Biddle 6th Place, Andrew Mitchell 12th Place of 12 Racers
8/18/2010 - One day after Danny Gutierrez let himself down by finishing last in the Bernardino County 200 NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series race at his home track of Auto Club Speedway, Gutierrez piloted the #45 car to his second consecutive NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series victory and his first Nuff win at his home track after starting 4th, surviving a late restart. Joshua Biddle managed a 6th place finish out of 12 racers after starting 10th, but caused an accident on lap 58 while restarting on the front row next to Gutierrez. Biddle spun on the entry to turn one, leaving Rowdybowler20 and Scoutchuck with nowhere to go, taking them both out of the race. Biddle finished the race one lap down in the #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge. Andrew Mitchell finished 12th of 13 racers after starting 12th, crashing out on lap 12. Championship points leader Kapalua2483 finished in 4th place.
In the Nationwide Series driver standings, Gutierrez remains in 2nd place and cut Kapalua's point lead to 70 points. Biddle remains in 4th place (-177 of leader)
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Chase Race #3 of 8 (Race #14 of 19) - San Bernardino County 200 at Auto Club Speedway - Chaser Joshua Biddle 8th Place, Andrew Mitchell 9th Place, Chaser Danny Gutierrez 12th Place of 12 Racers in Dismal Day for BBBS Motorsports
8/17/2010 - The third race of the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Chase for the Cup - the San Bernardino County 200 at Auto Club Speedway - went poorly for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Danny Gutierrez, who entered the race as a very strong championship contender, spun twice in the early laps while pushing his truck as hard as he could, and he would never recover as the race did not have a single caution to allow him to get laps back. Gutierrez would finish 12th of 12 racers after starting 8th, costing him big in the point race. Joshua Biddle would highlight BBBS Motorsports' entries, finishing on the lead lap in 8th place after starting 12th. Andrew Mitchell finished the race in 9th place after starting 7th.
In the Camping World Truck Series driver standings, Gutierrez dropped three positions, helped in part because of Rowdybowler20 being moved into the chase due to the second consecutive non-appearance of two other chasers. Gutierrez drops from a tie for 1st place to 4th place (-90 of leader). Biddle moved up two positions from 7th to 5th (-110 of leader). Mitchell gained two positions in the standings from 19th to 17th (-427 of 11th place).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #23 of 36 - NRL Manufacturer 400 II at Michigan International Speedway - Andrew Mitchell, Danny Gutierrez Notch Top Ten Finishes for BBBS Motorsports with 8th Place & 10th Place Finishes, Respectively; Joshua Biddle 16th Place, Braxton Pearce 17th Place of 25 Racers Following Disconnect
8/14/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. had mixed results in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' NRL Manufacturer 400 II at Michigan International Speedway, with Andrew Mitchell and Danny Gutierrez notching the best results for the team with an 8th and 10th place finish, respectively. Mitchell finished 4th of 11 on Track B in route to his first career Sprint Cup Series top ten after starting 21st, while Gutierrez finished one lap down on Track A (5th of 14 on Track A) after starting 4th. Joshua Biddle and Braxton Pearce also raced on Track A, with Biddle finishing 16th overall (9th of 14 on Track A) after starting 13th and Pearce finishing 17th overall (10th of 14 on Track A) after starting 10th. Biddle was the last place car still running at the end of the race, running six laps down when the checkered flag waved, with Pearce being the top finisher of those who did not finish (disconnection from server).
In the Sprint Cup standings, Pearce remains in 7th place (-1015 of leader), Biddle dropped a position from 8th to 9th (-1028 of leader), and Gutierrez fell to 15th place (-1528 of leader; -236 of 12th place).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Chase Race #3 of 8 (Race #25 of 30) - Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway - Chaser Danny Gutierrez WINS For His Second Career Nationwide Series WIN!!!! Chaser Joshua Biddle 7th Place, Andrew Mitchell 10th Place of 12 Racers
8/11/2010 - Appearing in his first race following the aftermath of being intentionally wrecked in an NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Chase for the Championship event, Danny Gutierrez didn't take a clean car for granted. Gutierrez led 74 of 100 laps of the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Kansas Lottery 300 at Kansas Speedway on his way to his second Nationwide Series win of the season after starting the race 3rd, surviving a late restart and holding off hard chargers kapalua2483 and kahnekid9. On the restart, Joshua Biddle and his #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge ran into issues after being punted into the apron by Sewilta, coming back on the track after losing control and causing dueceydueceydu to spin after taking evasive action, though the race stayed green. "I felt bad for causing duecey to spin," Biddle said after the race on pit road, "made a mistake coming back on the track abruptly, but certainly didn't like being driven through to get down on the apron in the first place. Just a bad break for the Cesar/Petsmart Dodge and I feel bad for the guys back at the shop." The fatal blow to the #76 was when Rowdybowler20 was stranded at the top of the track on lap 98 following a spin, and being contacted hard by Biddle, taking both cars out of the race. Biddle officially finished in 7th place after starting 6th. Non-Chaser Andrew Mitchell finished the race in 10th place after starting 11th, finishing the race three laps down.
In the Nationwide Series driver standings, Gutierrez put a small dent in Kapalua's comfortable points lead with only five races to go. Gutierrez did, however, gain two positions in the standings, moving from 4th place to 2nd place (-95 of leader). Barring catastrophe, Kapalua looks to be in the clear to win the Championship. Biddle remains in 5th place in the standings (-162 of leader) while Mitchell gained two positions to 24th (-593 of 11th place).
Bottlejuice Suspended One NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Race For Intentionally Wrecking BBBS Motorsports' Danny Gutierrez; "Justice Served"
8/11/2010 - Bottlejuice got the revenge he sought last week when he intentionally wrecked BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Danny Gutierrez; however, this decision has cost him the Championship points lead in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series, and ironically, handed the lead over to Gutierrez and Make 'em Cry Motorsports affiliate Bitten Buns, who are tied in the point standings with another Make 'em Cry Motorsports affiliate Scoutchuck only one point behind. Bottlejuice was officially suspended for one NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series race - the San Bernardino County 200 at California's Auto Club Speedway - by Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series administrators Wednesday, which will cost him a minimum of 121 points in the standings and drop him to at least 8th place following the next event. Furthermore, his actions forced the issuance of a global warning for intentional wrecking; if a racer intentionally wrecks another, they will immediately be removed from the league and race administrators have the authority to restart a room for the purpose of repairing damage for the victim. "The penalty could have been harsher, in my opinion, but justice was certainly served today," BBBS Motorsports' owner/driver of the #76 Dodge, Joshua Biddle, told reporters, "we knew the league would have to take action because, if nothing else, innocent parties were involved in the incident he caused and it goes against everything the league stands for. The rules clearly stated that a one race suspension at the minimum was warranted, so we were confident in presenting our argument to officials that we would get at least that. Funny to see him lose the points lead to Danny of all people! The suspension couldn't have happened to a bigger piece of [dirt] and it just goes to show that we will not tolerate people intentionally wrecking any of our drivers' race cars or trucks and will work as hard as we can to insure justice is served for anyone that does."
BBBS Motorsports' owner/driver of the #45, Danny Gutierrez, was pleased when informed of the suspension by the media, and responded "as for the suspension, it wasn't enough, in my opinion, but at least it was in our favor. I think that alot of us make mistakes out there and get into other drivers, but it is important to learn from them. There is enough accidental incidents out there to be wrecking drivers on purpose. I am not really sure why I have been involved in a few controversies as of late, but I assure you that me keeping my cool behind the wheel and driving my car to the best of its abilities has helped me come out on the winning end of them. Also, as stated before, when you drive people clean all the time whether the car is ill handling or a rocket, it sure goes a long way for your reputation when it comes down to decisions and I am glad our administrators see that. I am just happy to be able to have fun and be part of a league of this caliber."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Chase Race #2 of 8 (Race #13 of 19) - Las Vegas 250 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Chaser Danny Gutierrez Dumped Intentionally by Bottlejuice, Still Salvages Top Five with 4th Place Finish; Chaser Joshua Biddle 7th Place of 14 Racers; Andrew Mitchell One of Two Non-Chasers to "Go Home" After Failing To Qualify
8/10/2010 - Round 2 of 8 in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Chase for the Cup - the Las Vegas 250 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway - was full of controversy that could change the Truck Series standings, as well as the face of the Nuff Racing League, for the remainder of the season. An early race incident involving BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Danny Gutierrez and Truck Series points leader Bottlejuice elevated tempers to a point of no return. Bottlejuice started a heated exchange in which he cursed Gutierrez, who was running as the leader, for blocking him as he ran in second place. Bottlejuice proceeded to make a mistake with his truck going on the apron as they ran side-by-side; Gutierrez held his line and did not let Bottlejuice back on the track. Bottlejuice proceeded to move back on the track anyhow, resulting in a crash that gave Bottlejuice's truck heavy, heavy damage. At that point, Bottlejuice threatened retaliation, which would occur later in the race when he intentionally dumped Gutierrez, wrecking the #45 truck and the truck of Dueceydueceydu, bringing out a caution. Despite the incident which hurt Gutierrez - who had a truck fully capable of winning - he was able to get the most he could out of the truck on his way to a very good 4th place finish after starting 4th, with Bottlejuice finishing 8th of 14 after starting from the pole. Joshua Biddle, who was mediocre all day, finished in the middle of the pack on the lead lap with a 7th place finish of 14 racers after starting 12th. Andrew Mitchell, BBBS Motorsports' third entry, failed to qualify and was one of two racers to "go home" after a session of knockout qualifying with seven non-chasers vying for five positions not occupied by Truck Series chasers (NASCAR 09 only allows 14 racers per track).
In the Camping World Truck Series driver standings, Gutierrez gained the most positions in the Chase standings, gaining four positions and moving from 6th place to a tie for 2nd place (-39 of leader). If a points penalty or suspension is given to points leader bottlejuice, it's possible that Gutierrez will acquire a tie for the points lead entering next week's race. Biddle was the only other driver who gained a position in the standings, moving from 8th to 7th place (-74 of leader; -35 of leader if penalty assessed to bottlejuice). Despite failing to qualify, Mitchell did recieve a 25 point provisional, but fell two positions in the standings to 19th place (-4898 of leader; -205 of first non-chaser).
On the racing incident, BBBS Motorsports' owner/drivers both had plenty to say. Gutierrez commented, "I think for a guy that is fast week in and week out, he sure pulled a [edit] move. I think his arrogance and trash talk got the best of him and he wrecked himself by being too egotistic. Then he wrecked me without any validation by driving right into my rear quarter panel. I have never tried to wreck anyone on purpose and if I did you can bet that neither one of us would finish that race. I think I have proven to be one of the cleanest drivers in this league and I am not going to let some bottle fed, juice drinking crybaby change that. All I can do is race you how you race me. This is over if he wants it to be. There is more than just him out on the track and I hope he can realize that if he wants to finish races."
Joshua Biddle said, "I'm just amazed about the whole thing. Somebody makes a mistake and falls to the apron, decides to cut back on and cause an accident, and then blames someone for not letting him in after he was running his mouth to him and threatening to wreck him up to that point. I am lobbying hard and presenting all the evidence I can to league administration to insure he is suspended one race as the rules mandate. I feel that his early race threat clearly shows intent and we fully intend to make sure he suffers the consequences for his actions. The fact Danny finished 4th despite the incident was great, though we obviously know he had a truck capable of finishing higher prior to that act of retaliation. I enjoy the irony that Danny's finish, combined with what is likely to be a points penalty or suspension for bottlejuice, will result in Danny being tied for first in the standings. So bottlejuice's retaliation propelled Socalman to first once his penalty sets in. Thank you and hope it was worth it!"
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #22 of 36 - Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips at the Glen at Watkins Glen International - Braxton Pearce Leads BBBS Motorsports With 11th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez 15th Place, Joshua Biddle 17th Place, Andrew Mitchell 18th Place of 23 Racers
8/7/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. did not come away with any top ten finishes in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Helluva Good Sour Cream Dips at the Glen at Watkins Glen International, though the team was happy that all team members were able to race. A near catastrophe occurred while getting Track A situated; recent addition Braxton Pearce's X-Box malfunctioned and lost all data, deleting all setups as the race was about to start. The racers on Track A were very accommodating in making sure Pearce was taken care of and could race, which was appreciated by the BBBS Motorsports' front office. "I'm very grateful that Track A allowed us time to get Braxton situated so he could race. I would have felt awful if he wasn't able due to something that wasn't his fault, but I know they [other Track A racers] certainly weren't obligated because the league expects to get things started on time and this delay was no fault of the other racers on track. It's very much appreciated that they had our backs and I think it showed our newest teammate that our team has his back as well. Thank you to everyone," said owner/driver Joshua Biddle in a statement. Pearce would end up being the team's headliner at Watkins Glen, recording an 11th place finish (5th of 14 on Track A) out of 23 racers after starting 10th, finishing the race five laps down. Danny Gutierrez had a great run going on Track A with pit strategy that was going to take him to the end while battling on the lead lap, but yet another disconnection forced him into having a raw deal DNF, finishing in 15th place out of 23 racers (9th of 14 on Track A) after starting 8th, having officially completed 58 laps. Joshua Biddle had a miserable performance, going off track multiple times and blowing a tire, all on his way to a 17th place finish (11th of 14 on Track A) after starting 7th, having officially completed 48 laps. Andrew Mitchell - the BBBS Motorsports representative on Track B - struggled and had to take the car to the garage on lap 48 after crashing, finishing the race 18th overall (7th of 9 on Track B) after starting 21st.
In the Sprint Cup standings, Pearce jumped two positions from 9th to 7th in the standings (-937 of leader), jumping past his teammate Joshua Biddle and Make 'em Cry Motorsports affiliate Bitten Buns. Biddle dropped a position from 7th to 8th (-948 of leader) after Pearce jumped past him. Both Pearce and Biddle remain in comfortable position for the Chase with four races remaining until the Chase begins; Pearce remains 493 points above 13th place and Biddle remains 482 points above 13th place. Gutierrez remains on the Chase bubble, remaining in 14th place (-1467 of leader) - 249 points back of Make 'em Cry affiliate Scoutchuck in 12th and 37 points back of 13th place buddy8836. With Gutierrez scheduled to miss the Pep Boys 500 at Atlanta - the second to last race before the Chase cutoff - due to his racing commitments in California, it remains improbable that he makes the Chase. Mitchell gained seven positions from 55th place to 48th place (-3173 of leader) as he continues his upward climb in the latter part of the season.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Chase Race #2 of 8 (Race #24 of 30) - Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway - Dismal Day for BBBS Motorsports in the Dover 200 at The Team's Home Track; Andrew Mitchell 7th Place, Chaser Danny Gutierrez 8th Place, Chaser Joshua Biddle 12th of 13 Racers
8/4/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Chase for the Championship struggles continued in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Dover 200 at Dover International Speedway for Danny Gutierrez and Joshua Biddle, with the two finishing 8th and 12th place, respectively, out of 13 racers. On lap 20, the trouble started as Gutierrez got around on the back straightaway, and with nowhere to go, Biddle smashed head-on into the driver's side of his #45 Dodge. Both cars sustained damage, with Biddle's #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge Charger getting the worst of it with extreme front-end damage. Biddle would limp the car around the track but the engine expired while trying to get to the pits, ending his day early having completed 21 laps. Biddle was credited with a 12th place finish after starting 12th of 13. Gutierrez continued on and was competitive, but would be involved in an accident with djdealeyo which would eventually prove fatal to the #45's engine. Gutierrez was credited with having completed 88 laps, officially finishing the race 8th of 13 after starting 6th. Andrew Mitchell continued to be the bright spot for BBBS Motorsports in the past few NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck/Nationwide events, bringing home the best finish for the team. Andrew finished 7th of 13 after starting 7th, finishing the race at the tail-end of the lead lap.
Gutierrez remains in 4th place (-115 of leader) in the Nationwide Series driver standings while Biddle remains in 5th place (-133 of leader). Mitchell gained 5 positions and jumped up to 26th place (-4812 of leader) as he attempts to work his way to 11th place by season's end.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Chase Race #1 of 8 (Race #12 of 19) - Heluva Good! 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway - Andrew Mitchell Earns 5th Place, Top Five Finish; Chasers Danny Gutierrez, Joshua Biddle Struggle with 9th and 12th Place Finishes of 14 Racers
8/3/2010 - The first race in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Chase for the Championship - the Heluva Good! 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway - did not go well for BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s representatives in the Chase - Joshua Biddle and Danny Gutierrez. Biddle ran into trouble early with a tight race truck, drifting up the track and getting turned by jimbo026 and sent into the wall, bringing out the first of six cautions within the first 30 laps. "We overtightened the truck to start the race. I didn't think the change we made was so drastic when looking at our practice runs and our surprising qualifying run, but apparently it was" said Biddle. Biddle ran the 5th best qualifying time out of 14 without running a mock qualifying run in practice, but it went for nought after wrecking his truck. Though his truck remained in the race at the back of the pack, Gutierrez ran into some problems of his own with a bad transmission. On a few occasions, his transmission kicked into reverse when shifting and spun the truck out. On lap 64, Biddle attempted to avoid the spinning race truck of J MAN IZ PRO, quickly jerking the wheel right and back left to avoid the outside wall; the engine was "over-revved" and Biddle spun and smashed the inside wall of the frontstretch, ending his day with a 12th place finish out of 14. Gutierrez continued on, but wasn't able to make up the ground lost from the spins, finishing the race in 9th place, one lap down. Andrew Mitchell, who had a great run last week in the Nationwide race at Richmond, continued to build off of that momentum. He recorded a 5th place finish after starting 4th - the 2nd car one lap down - for his first career top five finish in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series.
Gutierrez stays in 6th place (-57 of leader) in the Camping World Truck Series driver standings, while Biddle drops four positions to 8th (-78 of leader). The finish was especially disappointing for Gutierrez, who had six top fives in seven Camping World Truck Series starts, including winning in the previous race. Mitchell moved up a whopping 22 positions to 17th place (-4776 of leader) as he battles to finish 11th in the standings.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #21 of 36 - Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway - Braxton Pearce Impresses in BBBS Motorsports Debut, Recording a 5th Place, Top Five Finish; Joshua Biddle Records 9th Place, Top Ten Finish of 16 Racers
7/31/2010 - In his debut, Braxton Pearce gave fans a great performance to remember with a 5th place finish in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Pennsylvania 500 at Pocono Raceway. Pearce finished on the lead lap on Track B prior to the merger between Track A and Track B at the scheduled lap 80 red flag, while Joshua Biddle was one lap down on Track A, but given a lap back to be at the tail-end of the lead lap as he would have taken a wave-around had the tracks not merged. On the restart of the race, Biddle had a great battle going with Pearce, with Pearce prevailing and keeping position over Biddle, who struggled with passing early on in the merged session. Biddle's day would take a major turn for the worse after getting loose on exit off of turn one, overcorrecting, and slamming the wall head-on off of the turn. Biddle's car was severely damaged - though he was able to get the car moving without bringing out a caution - but he would continue to plug away and log laps despite the disappointing turn of events. Disappointing also describes a speeding penalty Pearce was assessed on pit road during the first round of pit stops in the merged session. After coming off of pit road and being informed of the speeding infraction and the resulting pass-through penalty, Pearce got loose off of turn two after a lapse in concentration brought upon by obvious frustration. Pearce, however, rebounded nicely and ran the remainder of the race mistake-free, finishing the race one lap down in 5th place after starting 11th, his second top-five of the season. Biddle managed to finish 9th overall of 16 racers after starting 8th, finishing the race six laps down - the 2.5 mile track helped to limit the number of laps down Biddle ended up as his car was terrible for the majority of the race and was getting passed easily. The 9th place finish was Biddle's 9th top-ten finish of the season.
BBBS Motorsports' Danny Gutierrez and his #45 Victory Junction Gang Camp Dodge was unable to race due to commitments for his real-life truck racing in California. He prequalified and received a 25 point provisional. Andrew Mitchell and his #10 McDonalds Dodge Charger were not on the entry list for Pocono. Both racers are expected to race at Watkins Glen on August 7th.
Biddle gained a position in the Sprint Cup standings, passing mwils1 - who recorded a DNF at Pocono - for 7th place (-865 of leader) by only two points. Pearce remains in 9th place in the standings (-872 of leader), but remains only five points away from 8th place and seven points away from 7th place. Biddle has a 504 point cushion over 13th place and Pearce has a 497 point cushion over 13th place, all but securing their positions in the Chase with only five races remaining until the cutoff. Gutierrez dropped a position in the standings to 14th place (-1390 of leader) after missing the race and only receiving the provisional, being passed by buddy8836. With a 202 point defecit from 12th place Scoutchuck - a member of affiliate team Make 'em Cry Motorsports - and some races remaining in his real life truck schedule, it remains an extreme longshot that Gutierrez will make the Chase.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Chase Race #1 of 8 (Race # 23 of 30) - Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond International Raceway - Andrew Mitchell Records Career Best 2nd Place Finish; Chaser Joshua Biddle 5th Place, Chaser Danny Gutierrez 9th Place of 12 Racers
7/28/2010 - In race #1 in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Chase for the Championship, things did not go as planned for BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s drivers Joshua Biddle and Danny Gutierrez in the Emerson Radio 250 at Richmond International Raceway; however, BBBS Motorsports' non-chaser Andrew Mitchell ran very well and finished the race with his best career finish. Gutierrez had trouble handling his #45 entry and at lap 79, he was out of the race after making heavy contact with the wall in his Dodge, finishing 9th place out of 12 racers after starting 4th. Biddle's day started off terribly, getting caught up in a lap one accident which caused serous front end damage. Biddle was able to limp on and finish the race, albeit four laps down, finishing 6th place of 12 after starting 11th. Mitchell did a very good job, running up front for most of the day and posting a very good qualifying time, starting the race 3rd. He led 16 laps and finished the race in 2nd place, which was also his first career top-five finish in an NRL-sanctioned event.
Joshua Biddle, Danny Gutierrez Both Qualify for Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series & Nationwide Series Chase for the Championship
7/28/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s owner/drivers Joshua Biddle and Danny Gutierrez both have qualified for the Chase for the Championship in both the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series and Nationwide Series. Both series have eight races, ten chasers, and only one Champion! Points are reset in each series with ten bonus points for each race win. In the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series, Gutierrez is tied for the #3 seed with one win (-50 of leader) and Biddle is tied for the #5 seed with zero wins (-60 of leader). In the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series, Gutierrez is tied for the #3 seed with one win (-10 of leader) and Biddle is tied for the #6 seed with zero wins (-20 of leader).
BBBS Motorsports Signs Potential Chaser Braxton Pearce To Contract
7/28/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. made a mega announcement on Wednesday afternoon, signing potential NRL Sprint Cup Series chaser Braxton Pearce to a contract to drive for the team. "We're thrilled to get to work with Braxton and are very happy to have him aboard. He's a very good, clean racer and it's always a pleasure to have teammates with those attributes" said Joshua Biddle at the press conference announcing the signing. Pearce's debut with the team will be Saturday at Pocono in the Pennsylvania 500.
Pearce has very good statistics in the NRL Sprint Cup Series, with 1 top five and 11 top 10s in 17 starts, good for 9th place in the standings.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #20 of 36 - Allstate 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records 10th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez 15th Place, Andrew Mitchell 21st of 24 Racers
7/17/2010 - Joshua Biddle headlined the BBBS Motorsports, Inc. effort in the NRL Sprint Cup Series' Allstate 400 at the Brickyard - the famed Indianapolis Motor Speedway - finishing 10th place of 24 racers (7th of 14 on Track A) three laps down. But the day was a moral victory for the entire team as Biddle, Danny Gutierrez, and Andrew Mitchell all raced on Track A after a few Track A racers decided to race on Track B, allowing Biddle and Gutierrez to move up as the top Track B qualifiers (Mitchell qualified for Track A). Biddle kept the car clean most of the day, but the speed of race winner FreshNJG24 was too much to keep himself from getting lapped as cautions were few and far between. Biddle had a very good battle for the tenth spot (7th on Track A) throughout the duration of the race with xo twenty ox. A scary moment for both cars occurred in the middle of the race while Biddle was coming off of turn and touched the grass, nearly coming around with xo twenty ox on his tail. xo twenty ox was able to take evasive action and avoid getting into the back of Biddle. "I thought I had ruined both of our days as soon as I got the left front in the grass and knew I was in trouble," Biddle said after the race, "don't know how he was able to keep from getting into me. All I can say is 'wow'." Also battling for 10th place (7th on Track A) was affiliate metsrule2000, and it looked like it was going to come down to the last lap between him and Biddle; metsrule2000 was ahead but Biddle was closing in. With a few laps to go, metsrule2000's engine finally gave out after suffering severe prior damage.
Gutierrez ran into technical issues with his wheel, losing force feedback, resulting in some spinouts. "By the time I got the hang of driving it, it was too late" Gutierrez said after the race, clearly disappointed in his 15th place finish (11th of 14 on Track A). He is not expected to race next week at Pocono due to his commitments off track in racing Factory Fours in California.
Mitchell ran into some early issues after spinning into the wall. He would lose his engine on lap 49 of 160, ending his disappointing day early, officially finishing 21st. He remains optimistic about performing well at Pocono next week and looks forward to the challenge.
Biddle stays in 8th place (-808 of leader) in the Sprint Cup standings and has a healthy 412 point cushion on 13th place. Gutierrez moves up a spot to 13th place (-1220 of leader), moving over kahnekid9 - a no-show for Indy - for 13th place. Gutierrez remains 77 points outside of the Chase, but it appears nearly impossible to overcome given he is not expected to race at Pocono. Mitchell gains 5 positions to 55th place (-2892 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #22 of 30 - Degree V12 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway - Andrew Mitchell Records Solid 6th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 9th Place of 14 Racers
7/14/2010 - Andrew Mitchell had a solid run in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Degree V12 300 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, finishing 6th place one lap down after starting 13th. Mitchell's 6th place finish marks his best career finish in any NRL series in a points race and he ran near the front all day. Having to pit off sequence for the final green flag pit stop was the difference between finishing on the lead lap or a lap down. Joshua Biddle once again had problems, making contact with the outside retaining wall early in the race and sending the #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge Charger into complete and utter disarray from an aero perspective. The spoiler angle, again, caused issues due to Biddle not keeping the car clean, and this resulted in another day of giving the phrase "taking the car for a spin" a whole new meaning. Due to several DNFs, Biddle was able to record a 9th place finish out of 14 racers after starting 6th, even though his performance was more in line with a last place finish. "I'm just glad to be getting the [heck] out of Atlanta" Biddle said after another disappointing finish.
The race had a few interesting stories with skirmishes between delcampo555 and Sewilta, as well as between jimbo026 and BBBS Motorsports' Andrew Mitchell.
Biddle remains in 4th place (-643 of leader) in the Nationwide Series' driver standings. Mitchell drops two positions to 35th place (-2828 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #11 of 19 - Georgia 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records 10th Place Finish; Andrew Mitchell 12th Place of 14 Racers
7/13/2010 - Joshua Biddle and Andrew Mitchell both struggled in the NRL / FNTS Camping World Truck Series' Georgia 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Tuesday night. Biddle finished in 10th place after starting 11th, and struggled all day, spinning multiple times and bringing out a caution after spinning and coming to rest in the middle of the track. "The car was extremely aero loose," Biddle said after crashing out with 45 laps completed, "we had the wing angle too low and the thing was wiggling around every which way. I just couldn't get a handle on it once I got some damage. Bummer for the #76 Legends of the Hidden Temple/Nickelodeon GAS team." Mitchell ran out of gas after completing 30 laps, officially scoring him in 12th place of 14 racers after starting 14th.
Despite his terrible performance, Biddle remains in 4th place (-274 of leader) in the Camping World Truck standings. Mitchell gained 6 spots to 26th (-1404 of leader).
BBBS Motorsports, Inc., Make 'em Cry Motorsports Make Alliance Official
7/11/2010 - Following a great week on the race track for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. while in a one-week trial alliance with Make 'em Cry Motorsports, both teams have agreed to extend the alliance through the entire 2010 season owner/driver Joshua Biddle released in a statement Sunday. The decision reportedly came via a closed door meeting between Biddle and Make 'em Cry Motorsports owner metsrule2000 following Saturday's race. "I am confirming the decision made by Make 'em Cry Motorsports' owner metsrule2000, BBBS Motorsports' owner/driver Danny Gutierrez, and myself to extend the alliance between Make 'em Cry Motorsports and BBBS Motorsports through the 2010 season. We're ecstatic to continue the relationship as it was a pleasure working with their team last week and the results on the race track were even better than expected. We look forward to a productive relationship with Make 'em Cry and I'm sure this will only make our team stronger."
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #19 of 36 - LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records Third Career Top-Five Finish With 4th Place Finish (Matches Career-Best); Danny Gutierrez 13th Place, Andrew Mitchell 16th Place of 24 Racers
7/10/2010 - Joshua Biddle, who started the race in the 17th position, tied his career-best finish with a 4th place finish in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series' LifeLock.com 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Illinois in the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger. Biddle's 4th place finish came via a 2nd place finish on Track B of 10 racers, which came despite a key miscue and poor decision in the pits on the final pit stop which nearly cost Biddle positions. Biddle (running 3rd at the time) entered the pits slightly behind Sewilta (running 2nd at the time), who took four tires while short-pitting for the final pit stop, but Biddle made a terrible decision choosing only two tires while unintentionally taking two cans of fuel and nearly ended up lapped by eventual Track B winner Sewilta, who finished 3rd overall. A costly speeding penalty on pit road by xo twenty ox, who was leading the race on Track B entering the final round of green flag pit stops, would relegate him to a 4th place finish on Track B and 8th overall, finishing the race one lap down. The decision by Biddle to take two tires and gaining zero track position by taking two cans of fuel nearly allowed J MAN IZ PRO to grab 2nd place on Track B, but he did not have enough laps to do so and was about a half-straightaway from passing Biddle at the finish line on the race's final lap.
On Track A, Danny Gutierrez - who started the race in the 14th position - finished the race four laps down, but improved on his starting position by finishing 13th overall. Mistakes on pit road plagued Gutierrez, who was fast otherwise, causing him to lose laps to the leaders. In the makeup race (Track C), Andrew Mitchell finished 3rd of 3 racers on the lead lap; however, a five-lap grace given to the Saturday racers forced Andrew to a 16th place finish out of 24 racers after starting 24th.
The great on-track performance for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. on Saturday was the result of a one-week trial alliance deal made with Make 'em Cry Motorsports. The results were very good for BBBS Motorsports, with Gutierrez winning Tuesday's O-Reilly 200 Camping World Truck Series event and all three racers finishing in the top 20 in the LifeLock.com 400. An announcement is expected to be made shortly in regards to the future of the alliance.
Biddle remains in 8th place (-767 of leader) in the Sprint Cup standings and remains +336 points of 13th place with 7 races remaining until the Chase for the Sprint Cup. His 4th place finish in the LifeLock.com 400 is his 3rd career top five finish and 7th career top ten. Gutierrez remains in 14th place (-1166 of leader), and currently sits -89 points out of the 12th place, the final Chase spot. Although it remains unlikely that Gutierrez will make the Chase due to his rigorous real-life racing schedule, it remains an outside possibility. Mitchell jumps 6 positions to 60th place (-2820 of leader) after his career-best finish.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #21 of 30 (Non Points Race) - NAPA Auto Parts 200 Presented By Dodge at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Montreal) - Andrew Mitchell Finishes 3rd Place of 7 Racers; Sponsorship Likely for Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Truck Races Going Forward for #10
7/7/2010 - Andrew Mitchell finished 3rd place out of 7 racers after starting 4th in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' race at Circuit Gilles Villeneuve (Montreal) in Wednesday night's exhibition event. Mitchell was one of 3 racers that finished on the lead lap, with the team owner of BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s ally Make 'em Cry Motorsports - metsrule2000 - finishing 2nd.
Reports have also emerged that a sponsorship agreement is in the works for the #10 Dodge of Mitchell in the Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck Series. Specifics of the speculated agreement were not immediately clear
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #10 of 19 - O'Reilly 200 Presented By Valvoline at Bristol Motor Speedway - Danny Gutierrez WINS for the First Win in BBBS Motorsports' History in the NRL / FNTS CWTS!!!!!!! Andrew Mitchell Records 8th Place Finish, Joshua Biddle 13th Place of 18 Racers
7/6/2010 - Danny Gutierrez WON the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series' O-Reilly 200 presented by Valvoline at Bristol Motor Speedway after starting 2nd on Track A. Gutierrez, who has lots of experience in real life running trucks on short tracks, showed his experience by winning his first race of the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series season and the first NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series victory in BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s history (2nd win overall). He led 13 laps in the 100 lap event, earning five bonus points as he continues to pad his excellent statistics in the series. Andrew Mitchell did a very good job on Track B, finishing on the lead lap, 4th of 9 on Track B, and 8th overall out of 18 racers after starting 17th. Joshua Biddle struggled nearly as bad as he did in the Nationwide Series Bristol debacle last week, finishing 13th of 18 racers (5th of 9 on Track B) after starting 15th. Biddle was caught up in an early accident that took dueceydueceydu out of the race and collected several other drivers; it is unclear what triggered the accident. Biddle would continue on after pitting under caution, but would spin two times with a damage-loose car that would culminate in falling 4 laps down, finishing the race having completed 96 of 100 laps. Biddle was able to get onto the apron and out of the racing groove each time he spun so the caution flag was never brought out due to the single car spins of the #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge Charger.
Biddle remains 4th place (-260 of leader) in the Camping World Truck Series standings while Gutierrez remains in 6th (-395 of leader) and Mitchell sits in 32nd place (-1383 of leader) after his first career NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series race.
BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Enters Into One-Week Trial Alliance Agreement with Make 'em Cry Motorsports; Agreement Could Evolve Into Long-Term Arrangement
7/4/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. owner/driver Joshua Biddle called a Sunday afternoon press conference, formally announcing what had been speculated for the past week, that BBBS Motorsports is formally aligning with Make 'em Cry Motorsports for a one-week trial agreement ending after Chicagoland that could evolve into a long-term alliance. An announcement is expected to be made next Sunday following the Chicagoland race to announce BBBS Motorsports' plans in terms of the alliance. "We were approached by [Make 'em Cry Motorsports Team Owner] metsrule2000 following the race at New Hampshire about aligning and given the fact that we have just added a new driver and are entering the home stretch of the season, [owner/driver] Danny [Gutierrez] and I decided that it would be in the team's best interest to align with Make 'em Cry [Motorsports] for the week of Chicagoland and evaluate the week to determine our plans moving forward. We appreciate the opportunity to align with one of the most competitive teams in the NRL and we look forward to what should be a very fun week of preparation" said Biddle.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #18 of 36 - Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records Second Career NRL Sprint Cup Top 10 with 8th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 13th Place, Andrew Mitchell 20th Place of 32 Racers
7/3/2010 - The Nuff Racing League's Sprint Cup Series Coke Zero 400 at Daytona International Speedway - the famed, 2.5 mile superspeedway - was a race filled with intense battles both on and off the race track, concluding with one of the most controversial finishes in the history of Nuff Racing League competition. With the race down to a handful of laps, a 'gentlemen's agreement' of sorts was made in the front of the pack with the pecking order Kapalua2483, DaleReynolds24, and kelley1968 running 1-2-3 and the leaders approaching the damaged car of BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Danny Gutierrez in the #45 Victory Junction Gang Camp Dodge Charger. The frontrunners paraded around in this order for the final laps, when suddenly DaleReynolds24 took the draft to slingshot by Kapalua2483 - who was in the line behind the damaged Gutierrez car, eventually pulling away for the win, his 8th of the season. A long look was taken by the commissioner and a Board to determine how this type of outcome should be handled. In a lengthy ruling, the Board decided as follows: "Not due to any agreement by the racers... but due to the ACTIONS on the track at lap 157-159 where the racers in the lead pack STOPPED racing... we will freeze the field right there as it relates to a green/white/checker caution.. again this is not due to any agreement.. but due to the fact that the racers had resolved to just cruise around the track from laps 157-159 in a distinct "taxi" like order as you would a caution. At lap 157... it is determined that by the actions of the lead pack.. the race was no longer a race. As a result.. the Positions will be frozen at lap 157.. Kapalua2483 will be awarded the victory, Dale 2nd and Kelley 3rd.. As well.. Danny Gutierrez will finish on the lead lap."
With Gutierrez being awarded a lead lap finish on Track A (8th place) as a result of the decision, he would record an 8th place overall finish after starting 2nd. He also led 15 laps in the 160 lap event, recording 5 bonus points. Joshua Biddle managed to finish on the lead lap on Track B (5th on Track B) for a 13th place finish overall in his #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger after starting 24th. This marks Biddle's best career finish at a superspeedway after struggling in the Daytona 500 (32nd) and the Aarons 499 at Talladega (17th). Andrew Mitchell had a nice run in his Nuff Sprint Cup Series debut in his unsponsored #10 Dodge Charger, but his 20th place finish after starting 26th did not reflect how well he ran. A speeding penalty on pit road put him a lap down, but he probably had the cleanest car of the remaining racers on Track B entering the final quarter of the race. Unfortunately, an EA glitch sending the driver pitting in the first pit stall back on the track in neutral caused his car to get clobbered and he eventually would lose his engine as a result of the accident. All in all, a momentum building effort for the new #10 team as they adjust to the 100% length races that the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series runs.
Biddle moved up a spot in the Sprint Cup standings to 8th place (-796 of leader) after Sinnerslikeme dropped to 10th place after having the week off. Biddle now has a solid 303 point lead over 13th place kahnekid9 with only 8 races remaining until the Chase for the Sprint Cup. Gutierrez remains in 14th place (-1154 of leader) and is currently 101 points out of the Chase with 8 races to go, a total that is going to be nearly impossible to overcome given his part-time Nuff Sprint Cup schedule due to his real-life racing commitments. Mitchell is currently in 66th place (-2804 of leader) after his first career Sprint Cup race in the Nuff Racing League.
Jimbo026's Appeal of Penalty Assessed for Wrecking BBBS Motorsports' Danny Gutierrez Denied by Nuff Racing League Administrators; Board Determines Penalty "Probably Wasn't Severe Enough"
6/28/2010 - The appeal by jimbo026 on the 25 point penalty assessed to to him for "Putting second place [Danny Gutierrez] competition into wall when they attempted to pass on the inside for the win after the prior (same lap) incident." was upheld by the Nuff Racing League Board of Appeals. The board is responsible for determining whether a penalty should stand and has the power to reduce the penalty if it is seen fit; the board is not able to add to a penalty, but felt the penalty assessed to jimbo026 "probably wasn't severe enough."
On the decision, owner/driver Joshua Biddle said "It's always great to see justice served and it was definitely served in regards to Jimbo. I was extremely confident that the appeal would be denied because he has a history of these types of issues that was evident prior to my arrival in the league. He offered Danny Gutierrez to drop the appeal if he could get me to stop stating my case to the press, but appealing a penalty that he thoroughly deserved was just icing on the cake in terms of seeing his decision-making off the track is just as poor as his decision-making on the track. People who race clean are always respected in my book and he has done anything but, and his wrecking of my teammate was the final straw in my tolerance of his on-track actions, and I'm not going to hold back. Hopefully, he knows better than to wreck anybody on this team - or anybody else in the league for that matter - but I have zero confidence that he can grasp the concept of clean racing based on his history and wouldn't be shocked if he's booted from the league at some point in the future."
Owner/driver Danny Gutierrez, who was the victim of Jimbo's wreckless driving, said on the decision "Well, first I want to thank the league for taking their time to review this. I do not know why Jimbo would waste the league administrators' time with this issue to begin with. I don't know how he could justify what he did to anyone. I guess he thought he watched the OJ case close enough but forgot that previous convictions come out to hurt you."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #20 of 30 - Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records Top-Five Finish with 5th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Limps to 11th Place Finish; Andrew Mitchell 12th Place of 13 Racers in Nuff Racing League Debut
6/28/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. had a meager day at Bristol in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway. Danny Gutierrez put together yet another solid top-five run with a 5th place finish. He was running 3rd when dueceydueceydu got into Gutierrez as a result of being rear-ended, resulting in Gutierrez getting the wall, losing a tire, and ultimately finishing the race one lap down. Joshua Biddle recorded an 11th place finish out of 13 drivers, spinning twice, finishing the race 5 laps down. One spin resulted in Biddle's car coming to rest against the outside straightaway wall; a caution was brought out shortly thereafter when Kapalua2483 was turned by jimbo026 - the second time in the month of June this has occurred in the Nationwide Series. Andrew Mitchell, in his Nuff Racing League debut, struggled in what was likely a conservative run in his first opportunity to get seat time for BBBS Motorsports, finishing 12th of 13 and 6 laps down. He was running an unsponsored #41 entry as the team continues to search for sponsorship.
Gutierrez remains 4th place (-562 of leader) in the Nationwide Series' driver standings, Biddle remains in 5th place (-606 of leader), and Mitchell is tied for 33rd place.
BBBS Motorsports Signs Andrew Mitchell to Sprint Cup, Nationwide, Camping World Truck Series Contract
6/27/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. has officially signed driver Andrew Mitchell to a contract to drive what is likely to be the #41 Dodge in the Sprint Cup, Nationwide, and Camping World Truck Series for the team. It was a surprise move for a team that was said not to be interested in adding a third car during the season. "It wasn't my original plan to add a third car under any circumstance once the season started," said owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "but we had extensive discussions internally with the shareholders and Danny [Gutierrez] vouched for him as a very clean racer, so we couldn't turn away somebody who is respectful on the track and passionate about racing." Details of the contract were not immediately available and the car number and sponsorship for each entry has not yet been finalized according to a source close to the situation.
The team has announced that Mitchell will make his debut in an unsponsored Dodge in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Food City 250 at Bristol Motor Speedway.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #17 of 36 - Lenox Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway - Joshua Biddle Earns 8th Place Finish of 21 Racers
6/26/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded an 8th place finish of 21 racers in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Lenox Tools 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, a surprising finish for a #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge that struggled all week in practice and qualifying. Starting 16th - 5th on Track B - Biddle would run into early trouble after contact from metsrule2000 that resulted in hard shot by the #76 into the back of delcampo555. In addition, Biddle would eventually spin on two separate occasions of his own doing, falling as far down as 7th place of 7 racers on Track B and four laps down. After several cautions - resulting in three wave-arounds and one lucky dog free pass - the #76 was back on the lead lap on a pit sequence even with the race's leaders for the final quarter of the race, culminating in a green-white-checker finale after a late caution that would have the #76 restarting 4th. Biddle would make a pass for 3rd place and entering turn four on the white flag lap, Biddle was conservative getting into the corner and saw mwils1 overdrive the corner and get into the wall, resulting in an intense drag race to the start/finish line that would end with Biddle getting a 0.4 second edge on mwils1 for 2nd place on Track B and an 8th place finish overall. "This was not an 8th place car - more like an 8th place on Track B car - but we were able to capitalize on the opportunity we received with all of the race's cautions and made the most of it," said Biddle, "I really don't have any idea where that green-white-checker run came from in our #76 Dodge and we, as a team, feel very fortunate that we were able to get the most out of what seemed like would be a dismal day. I want to thank all of the guys at the shop and Danny, who couldn't be at the track today, for getting this #76 Dodge to compete for a Track B win and hopefully that'll happen at some point this season."
Biddle, after a terrible start to the season in which he recorded 4 finishes of 25th or worse and 4 DNFs in his first 5 races, has recorded 2 top 5s and 5 top 10s in the past 8 Sprint Cup events with only 2 DNFs (Darlington, Infineon) in that span. The #76 team remains in 9th place (-740 of leader) in the Sprint Cup standings with a comfortable +284 point cushion over 13th place Speedracer91sf. Danny Gutierrez - who had a truck race in southern California and was unable to attend the Lenox Tools 301 - dropped two positions in the standings to 15th (-1121 of leader) despite prequalifying and earning the 25 point provisional. He remains 109 points out of 12th place and the final berth for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #19 of 30 - Carfax 250 at Michigan International Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Earns 7th Place Finish Via 2nd Place Track B Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 9th of 16 Racers (4th of 8 on Track B)
6/23/2010 - In his first race as an owner/driver, Danny Gutierrez earned a 7th place finish out of 16 racers via a 2nd place finish on Track B. He was gaining on race winner IG Miami, but ran out of time; "Needed one more lap" said Gutierrez. Gutierrez led 27 of 63 Track B laps, earning 5 bonus points in the Nationwide Series standings. Joshua Biddle finished 9th place of 16 racers via a 4th place finish on Track B, leading one lap by staying out for this purpose while running second during the first caution of the race; he would pit after leading the lap as every car would pit under the caution.
Gutierrez remains in 4th place in the Nationwide Series' driver standings (-586 of leader) and Biddle remains in 5th place (-586 of leader).
Danny Gutierrez (Socalman) Earns 12.5% Stock Gift in BBBS Motorsports, Inc.; Biddle Divests 25% Share in Organization Down to 12.5%
6/20/2010 - In a move that brings Danny Gutierrez into the realm of owner/drivers in the Nuff Racing League, Joshua Biddle officially divested a 12.5% share of his 25% holdings in BBBS Motorsports, Inc. as a stock gift to Gutierrez, whose arrival has made the team competitive since the first race of the season. On the announcement, Biddle said "I credit Danny for having this team racing at a competitive level in our first season with the #76 9th in points and the #45 13th in points to date. When executive decisions have been made in terms of potentially adding other drivers and such, I consulted Danny, so it only makes sense to give him a stake in the company as the day-to-day running of the company has already been conducive of him being a partner."
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #16 of 36 - Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway - Infineon Spells Trouble for BBBS Motorsports as Joshua Biddle Finishes 16th, Danny Gutierrez Finishes 19th of 20 Racers
6/19/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. did not come home with the finishes they were hoping, finishing 16th and 19th out of 20 racers in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series' Toyota/Save Mart 350 at Infineon Raceway. Joshua Biddle finished 16th and had a very good beginning to the race after starting 13th (3rd on Track B) and lead 12 laps early after teammate Danny Gutierrez and bowler20 spun. Biddle, like Gutierrez, would endure a "EA flip" where the car just flips over for going in too hot on a curb, which would seriously hamper both BBBS Motorsports cars. The flip would cause Gutierrez to go to the garage, while Biddle's #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger would limp on. Biddle brought out the only Track B caution after slamming into the car of xSm0kin Jok3rx, which was in the grass just off of the hill entering turn two. "My tires just seemed to be gone when I got up the hill. Got up there too hot and went off in the grass, and unfortunately, his car was there. At least he went on to finish the race" said a disappointed Biddle, who was hoping for a very good finish at his first Sprint Cup road course. Under this caution, Biddle would go off in the dirt under caution and the front dug into the ground, causing severe front damage to an already heavily damaged car, overheating, and severe damage to the engine. This forced the #76 team to the garage.
Despite the poor day for the team, it did not hurt the team much in the Sprint Cup standings. In fact, Biddle moved up one position over Kapalua2483 to 9th place (-857 of leader). Entering the race one point behind Kapalua, Biddle would finish the race one position below Kapalua2483 but would finish with two more points on the day by virtue of the 5 bonus points Biddle earned by leading at least one lap. Biddle also improved his buffer over 13th place to 264 points as he continues his bid to make the Chase at season's end. Gutierrez dropped a position in the standings to 13th (-1121 of leader), but remains in a hard fought battle for the 12th and final chase berth; he is only two points behind the hard charging Speedracer91sf.
After Tiebreaker Vote, BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Goes With Mercedes-Benz for Formula 1 Endeavor
6/18/2010 - After a split between Italian manufacturer Ferrari and German manufacturer Mercedes-Benz as the top preference for BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s shareholders, a tiebreaker vote was necessary to determine which manufacturer BBBS Motorsports would work with in next season's Formula 1 campaign. The tiebreaker - having the dog of Joshua Biddle 'paw' a keyboard (musical) and then counting "Ferrari, Mercedes, Ferrari, Mercedes, ..." until reaching the key Socky hit - ended with Mercedes-Benz being the designated manufacturer. "We're proud to work with Mercedes-Benz moving forward into next season's debut into Formula 1,' said owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "we're satisfied with the outcome of this vote."
It is reported that Biddle and Keith Bleeker both voted Ferrari as their top choice with Mercedes-Benz as their second choice and Christopher Bostic and Joe Staab chose Mercedes-Benz as their top choice with Ferrari as their second choice, forcing the tiebreaker.
BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Holding Shareholder Vote Regarding Manufacturer To Be Used In 2011 Formula 1 Campaign
6/17/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. is in the process of determining the manufacturer they will partner with in their planned 2011 Formula 1 debut season. The manufacturers - Cosworth, Ferrari, Mercedes-Benz, and Renault - are all European based manufacturers. Cosworth is a UK-based manufacturer, Ferrari is an Italy-based manufacturer, Mercedes-Benz is a German-based manufacturer, and Renault is a France-based manufacturer. With 75% of the shareholders reporting, it appears that it will be a battle between Ferrari and Mercedes-Benz with Cosworth and Renault being ruled out by the shareholders who have already cast their vote. It is speculated that the lone shareholder who hasn't cast his vote - Christopher Bostic - will vote Mercedes-Benz (he took German as a foreign language years ago in high school) and force a tiebreaker vote.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #18 of 30 - Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen - Danny Gutierrez Earns 3rd Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 6th of 13 Racers
6/16/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Danny Gutierrez had a good run in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Zippo 200 at Watkins Glen, finishing in 3rd place one lap down after starting the event 4th. Joshua Biddle finished the race in the 6th position after starting 6th, though he ran into trouble a few times by slapping the wall and also received two black flags after running into the grass. He would finish the race 3 laps down. Jimbo026 finished the race in 8th place and was involved in an incident with bowler20 after spinning (a "phantom disconnect" removed his car from showing on the track map), collecting bowler20 and causing damage. Bowler20, who was angry about the incident, would recover and record a strong 5th place finish. There were no incidents on the track between BBBS Motorsports' drivers and Jimbo026. No decision has been made on the appeal of his penalty from last week.
Gutierrez switches positions with his teammate Biddle and moved up to 5th place (-563 of leader) in the Nationwide Series' driver standings and now remains only 34 points away from 4th place. Biddle drops to 6th place (-569 of leader).
BBBS Motorsports' Applauds Penalties Assessed To Jimbo026 After Kroger 200 NRL/FNTS Nationwide Race
6/14/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. applauded the penalties levied on driver Jimbo026 after his reckless driving incidents in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Kroger 200, a race that he went on to win. The penalty, assessed by league administration, included a 100 point deduction in driver points for both the NRL/FNTS Nationwide & Camping World Truck Series and probation for five Nationwide races and two Camping World Truck Series races. 75 of the 100 point penalty was assessed for "Aggressive driving on the last lap which resulted in win by wrecking prior lap leader, intentionally" and the remaining 25 point penalty was assessed for "Putting second place competition into wall when they attempted to pass on the inside for the win after the prior (same lap) incident."
On the penalty, owner/driver Joshua Biddle said "I'm thrilled to see league administration take firm and swift action against Jimbo for his actions in last Wednesday's Nationwide Series race. Intentionally wrecking people should never be accepted and is a slap in the face to all of the racers who were running up front. We are aware of his decision to appeal and I have forwarded all messages and correspondence between Jimbo and I over the past few days to league administration, which will clearly establish the disrespectful attitude he possesses and his recklessness as his comments attacked not only me but other rookies and slow drivers saying that they're in the way. These two demonstrated traits should help to establish intent as he has factually showed disrespect and recklessness off of the track, and the original diagnosis of the situation from Wednesday's race by league officials is that he demonstrated these exact same traits on the track not once, but twice, with two different drivers. Open and shut case as far as I'm concerned, and even if he were to somehow get it overturned, the fact that he has one other penalty already on his record in Sprint Cup is far more detrimental to the league than being a rookie or a slow driver."
On the incident, penalty, and appeal, driver Danny Gutierrez said, "I was over the incident 10 minutes after the race was over knowing the officials would take care of it. Now I find out that not only is he a reckless, untalented driver, but he is also a liar! If he has to lie to build his appeal case then it tells me it was intentional. I have nothing else to say about this."
2010 Nuff Racing League iRacing Silverado Series Race #2 of 12 - Texas 250 at Texas Motor Speedway - Terrible Run Plagues Joshua Biddle, Finishes 7th Place of 8 Racers After Contact With Brian Barden
6/13/2010 - Joshua Biddle had an awful run at Texas Motor Speedway in the second race of the season for the Nuff Racing League iRacing Silverado Series, finishing 7th place of 8 in the Texas 250. On his day, Biddle said "I just couldn't get the Truck right. Track seemed very slippery all race and the tires just wouldn't grip. Had my hands full all day and finally just lost it." Even worse, after bringing his truck back out after making repairs, Biddle got together with the truck of Brian Barden as he prepared to pass Biddle's damaged truck. Biddle commented, "I couldn't tell if I was in the way, so I started down to the inside to give him the high line, but he was coming down low as well and pretty sure I knocked him into the wall. Haven't seen the replay, but I definitely know it didn't end well and I should have just held my line. Communication is paramount and I have a microphone and such to communicate to ensure a mistake like that doesn't happen again on my part. I apologize to Brian and his team for that and I have spoken with him about the incident. Just an embarrassingly crappy day all around for the BBBS Motorsports' Silverado, and I'm just hoping we can get a much better run together at Phoenix. We had a great run going at Daytona until I made a pit blunder and overcorrected and wrecked, so two races and nothing to show for it."
Biddle remains in 7th place in the Silverado Series standings (-98 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #15 of 36 - LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records 10th Place Finish of 27 Racers; Danny Gutierrez Doesn't Race Due to Real-Life Racing Obligations, but Prequalifies To Receive Provisional Points
6/12/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. had a solid showing in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series' LifeLock 400 at Michigan International Speedway, recording a Top 10 finish. Joshua Biddle finished the race in 10th place via a 4th place finish on Track B, finishing the race two laps down. Nine cars finished on the lead lap, with Biddle being the leader of all lapped cars. "Felt good to bring home a top ten at Michigan," said owner/driver of the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger, "we kept the car clean most of the day and it was reflected by our finishing position. We're hoping this is a nice shot of adrenaline into our intermediate program and we look forward to our first Sprint Cup road course, Infineon." Danny Gutierrez was unable to race as he had a real-life race for Best in the West Racing's Interstate Batteries Factory Fours Series. He prequalified for the event so he will receive provisional points - 25 points. Biddle moves up a spot in the Sprint Cup standings to 9th place (-812 of leader) and remains only 1 point away from 8th place. Furthermore, his cushion over 13th
place is extended to 170 points. His position has been strengthened by a recent hot streak; in his last six races, Biddle has 2 top 5s and 4 of his 5 top 10s. Gutierrez dropped 2 spots from 12th place to 14th place (-1067 of leader) and remains 88 points back from 12th place and the final berth for the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #17 of 30 - Kroger 200 Benefiting the Riley Hospital for Children at O'Reilly Raceway Park - Danny Gutierrez Records 2nd Place Finish After Being Wrecked By Race Winner on Last Lap; Joshua Biddle Doesn't Race, But Rips Into Race Winner
6/9/2010 - In the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Kroger 200 Benefiting the Riley Hospital for Children at O'Reilly Raceway Park, BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Danny Gutierrez recorded a 2nd place finish out of 7 racers. The finish didn't come without incident as Gutierrez was run over by race winner Jimbo026 - as was 3rd place finisher Kapalua2483 - but recovered for his second place finish. Heated words were exchanged before and after the race between participants, and the usually laid-back, soft-spoken owner Joshua Biddle - who didn't race due to other obligations - also threw some harsh words in defense of his driver. "Jimbo has shown over and over that he has no respect for other drivers on the track. I haven't had issues with any other driver - and in this case I use the term driver loosely - in this league except him, when he tried blocking me repeatedly when I was on fresh tires. Racing is racing, but if you don't use intelligence and common sense to yield positions when necessary, you deserve what's coming. I already determined if that scenario plays out again, I will dive bomb him in order to insure I lose as little time as possible and if he gets into the wall or turned in the process, so be it. He won this race by flat out wrecking the two main contenders and that is despicable, cowardly, and a flat out disgrace to everything I believe the NRL and FNTS stand for, and that's not even counting his wonderful and well-deserved insubordination penalty for antics in the NRL Sprint Cup Series. He is the antithesis of what I believe any responsible team owner would want in a driver, and I feel that is thoroughly evidenced by his being released by the premier organization in the NRL. I hope to see him receive a penalty for his wreckless driving, but regardless of the outcome, no points penalty will match the continued decline in respect other racers have for him as he continues his actions on a weekly basis. Experience clearly hasn't taught him anything as I know these issues have predated my arrival in this league, and I'm sure they'll continue."
2010 Nuff iRacing League Silverado Series Race #1 of 12 - Daytona 250 at Daytona International Speedway - Joshua Biddle Finishes 7th of 9 Racers
6/6/2010 - Joshua Biddle kicked off his Nuff Racing League iRacing career with a 7th place finish after starting 4th in the Nuff iRacing League Silverado Series Daytona 250 at Daytona International Speedway. On the first round of pit stops, Biddle elected to stay out and lead two laps rather than pitting with the 3rd place truck, causing Biddle to lose to draft. Since the race remained caution free, this would be a costly decision. On lap 83, Biddle got the left side tires on the apron and lost control, slamming the wall hard spinning into the infield grass. The truck suffered heavy suspension damage and was only able to get out for four additional laps after pit repairs before taking the truck to the garage, finishing 13 laps down.
Biddle currently sits at 7th in the Silverado Series driver standings (-46 of leader). Biddle received a four point deduction for having four incidents as scored by iRacing's scoring system, but also received a five point bonus for having lead a lap.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #14 of 36 - Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway - Joshua Biddle Records Second Career Sprint Cup Series Top Five Finish with 5th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Suffers Another Disconnection, Finishes 20th of 21 Racers
6/5/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded his second career top five finish with a 5th place finish in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series' Pocono 500 at Pocono Raceway after starting 19th. Biddle's 5th place finish came on a 2nd place finish out of 7 racers on Track B, which was achieved after 2nd place Scoutchuck wrecked out with 4 laps to go. Unfortunately, Danny Gutierrez was disconnected from his Track A effort and was officially reported to have completed 32 laps, resulting in a 20th place finish out of 21 racers. "Thursday was the first laps I ever turned at Pocono, so there was lots of learning involved during the week, but I love how unique the track is. 2.5 mile tri-oval, which is interesting in itself, but the corners hold properties of short tracks and road courses which I love. I've had some solid runs at the short tracks this season and my only track victory was at a road course in the Nationwide Series, so it appears Pocono is a track that plays towards my strengths, so I'm excited to go back later this season. Have to thank my teammate for the top five finish as his assistance with setups continues to be invaluable."
Biddle's top five helps to solidify his position in 10th place (-776 of leader) as he continues his efforts to make a run up the Sprint Cup standings and preserve a Chase berth by virtue of remaining in the Top 12. He now stands 8 points back of 9th place, 21 points back of 8th place, and 25 points back of 7th place. Gutierrez remains in 12th place (-922 of leader) despite a disappointing finish, but is only 4 points back of 11th place. However, Scoutchuck hangs only 10 points back of 12th with others looming close behind Scoutchuck. The points race for Chase berths continues to be tight and will likely remain so until the Chase starts.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #16 of 30 - Dollar General 300 Presented By Coca Cola - Danny Gutierrez Records 6th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 9th Place of 12 Racers
6/2/2010 - Danny Gutierrez recorded a 6th place finish after starting 10th of 12 in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Dollar General 300 at Chicagoland Speedway. Gutierrez's qualifying effort was uncharacteristic, but he was able to move towards the front as the race went on and led a lap as well. Unfortunately, he would finish the race one lap down. Joshua Biddle qualified 9th of 12 and finished 9th, finishing the race 5 laps down.
Gutierrez and Biddle flip spots in the Nationwide Series' driver standings, with Gutierrez moving up to 5th place (-563 of leader) and Biddle dropping to 6th (-569 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #9 of 19 - AAA Insurance 200 Presented By JD Byrider at O'Reilly Raceway Park - Danny Gutierrez Records 3rd Place Finish After Earning First Career NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series Pole (And First Pole in BBBS Motorsports' History In Any Series); Joshua Biddle Finishes 7th of 9 Racers
6/1/2010 - Danny Gutierrez earned his first career pole and the first pole in BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s history in the AAA Insurance 200 Presented By JD Byrider NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series event at O'Reilly Raceway Park. Gutierrez would lead 71 of 100 laps, dominating three-quarters of the race and lapping the field twice, but two late cautions would even cars up and via the lucky dog and wave around rules, would allow multiple cars to get back on the lead lap. Gutierrez would finish the race in 3rd place as cars with a setup geared more towards the short-run were able to take advantage of the late restart to finish in 1st and 2nd place. Joshua Biddle struggled on his way to a 7th place finish out of 9 racers after starting in the 8th position.
Gutierrez gains one position in the Camping World Truck Series driver standings and now sits in 6th place (-458 of leader). Biddle stays in 4th place (-262 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #13 of 36 - Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records 15th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 18th of 32 Racers
5/29/2010 - Danny Gutierrez recorded a solid 15th place finish in the Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway after starting 16th, bringing home the top finish for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Gutierrez's 15th place finish was accomplished via a 6th place of 14 racers on Track B, finishing the race five laps down. An early spin following the first round of green flag pit stops ultimately hindered Gutierrez and his #45 Victory Junction Gang Camp Dodge Charger, but he did all he could to recover and log as many laps as possible. Joshua Biddle had a terrible race, spinning laps after Gutierrez's spin after getting loose through a turn, and a few additional times thereafter. Biddle's #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger suffered extensive damage early, and was significantly off the pace for well over half of the race, finishing the race 18 laps down. Biddle would finish the race in 18th place after starting 25th. "I was mad that I lost the car through the turn and sustained that damage and plenty more after that, especially so early on. The #76 team ran well over three-quarters of the race damaged, so it wasn't pleasant running the car totally out of contention, but we had to do what we could to log laps and be around at the finish. With that, the performance was an accomplishment, but it still was disappointing having those early setbacks."
Biddle drops one spot in the Sprint Cup standings, falling from 9th to 10th (-736 of leader) and remains +144 points of 13th place. Gutierrez remains in 12th place (-830 of leader) - the final slot for the Chase for the Sprint Cup - and added to his cushion over 13th place (+50 points).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #15 of 30 - Subway Jalapeno 250 Powered By Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records 2nd Place Finish, But Receives 50 Point Penalty; Joshua Biddle Finishes 15th of 16 Racers, Criticizes Penalty
5/26/2010 - Danny Gutierrez's performance in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series' Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca-Cola at Daytona International Speedway was superb, recording a 2nd place finish behind race winner bowler20 after starting 5th. However, Gutierrez was tagged with a 50 point penalty along with bowler20 and x peidl for entering the track before the backstretch following a green flag pit stop. Gutierrez was running third coming out of the pits and saw bowler20 and x peidl enter the track early and felt the best approach was to follow them to keep the draft if he had a shot at the win given the potential of his opponents getting away without a black flag. Joshua Biddle finished in 15th place after starting 9th - and on the pole in Track B - leading the first six Track B laps before spinning unabated and crashing into the inside retaining wall on the back-straightaway after a stroll through the grass.
On the penalty, Biddle said "I think Danny did the right thing. When one deals with subjective penalties and subjective black flags, there's a 50/50 shot whether a person caught exiting the pits onto the track will get the black flag even if they're called out on it. He was put in a position where he had to use a cost-benefit analysis and determined it was a bigger risk to lose the draft than to receive a penalty or black flag. When you're going for a win in a Chase for the Cup scenario where bonus points matter for wins, that 50 point deduction is meaningless. If someone is caught leaving the pits, it probably should be a mandatory black flag penalty to deter it from happening and not putting other racers in a position to have to fight the dilemma presented in this situation. After all, bowler ended up winning the race who was one of the two who originally committed the violation."
Biddle remains in 5th place in the Nationwide Series driver standings (-542 of leader) and Gutierrez remains in 6th place (-553 of leader).
Joshua Biddle Clinches All-Star Race Berth By Winning Fan Vote; Finishes 12th of 14 in the Event
5/22/2010 - Joshua Biddle showed up for the 2010 NRL Sprint Showdown, hoping to be one of the five racers who would transfer into the 2010 Nuff Racing League All-Star Race by recording a top-five finish in the Showdown, but received even better news when a 15th racer showed to race when a maximum of 14 racers are able to race on EA servers. The league commissioner made a decision to announce the results of the All-Star voting and Biddle edged out metsrule2000 by only one vote, allowing him to bypass the Showdown and go straight to the All-Star Race. "I have to thank all of our loyal fans on Facebook and through the 'interwebz' for their support in the voting. Awesome that BBBS Motorsports could field a car in the All-Star race," said owner/driver Biddle. Danny Gutierrez had a truck race in southern California that he raced in on Saturday afternoon; therefore, he was unable to participate in the Showdown for a chance to clinch a berth in the All-Star race.
The All-Star race itself was intense, but Biddle had trouble early when he put too much grille tape on the car to try to gain speed. The car's oil temperature had risen to dangerous levels and was a lap or two from blowing up when the first caution of the day came out, saving the #76's engine by means of the slower speed in the caution period and the opportunity to pit and remove some tape. Biddle ran in 10th-12th position all race, and in the final 10-lap segment of the race, Biddle aggressively upped the grille tape in hopes of improving on his 10th place position. The top five cars would receive the prize of a future NRL start in a non-chase race in the position that they finished the All-Star race (i.e. 2nd place in the All-Star Race can start 2nd at any race of their choosing as long as it is a non-chase event). A few laps into the final segment, Biddle saw the engine of his SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger expire, causing him to finish 12th of 14 racers.

5/19/2010 - Danny Gutierrez and Joshua Biddle both recorded top-five finishes at the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Camping World RV Sales 200 presented by Turtle Wax at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with Gutierrez recording a 3rd place finish after starting 5th and Biddle recording a 4th place finish after starting 7th of 7 racers. Biddle crashed out on lap 81 of 100 after spinning into the wall. He also sustained heavy right-front damage early in the race, while an early spin put Gutierrez a lap down to finish the race.
Biddle gained a position to 5th place in the Nationwide Series driver standings (-531 of leader) and Gutierrez gained a position to 6th place (-554 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #12 of 36 - Autism Speaks 400 at Dover International Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records 9th Place, Top-Ten Finish at Home Track Dover; Danny Gutierrez Disconnects, Finishes 16th of 30 Racers
5/15/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded a top-ten finish at his home track of Dover International Speedway in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Autism Speaks 400, finishing 9th place after starting 20th. Biddle finished 2nd place of 12 on Track B, finishing the race two laps down. Biddle had a car that could compete with Track B winner xo twenty ox, but late damage from side-slapping the wall ended any hope of a Track B win. Biddle did gain a lap back late as all teams needed to pit for at least a splash of fuel, Biddle pitted earlier than the remainder of the field knowing he had at least a lap cushion on 3rd place Scoutchuck and took two tires and fuel while leader xo twenty ox took only a splash of fuel and no tires. After being three laps down when he went into the pits, Biddle gained a lap back with this decision. Danny Gutierrez finished 16th after starting 5th following a disconnection on lap 370 of 400. He had a solid run but was involved in an accident that involved kahnekid9.
Biddle remains in 9th place in the Sprint Cup standings (-730 of leader) and increases his lead over 13th place to 114 points. Best of all, Gutierrez gained a position in the standings and now sits in 12th place - the final spot in the Chase - by 8 points over 13th place Scoutchuck (-836 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #13 of 30 - NorthernTool.com 250 at the Milwaukee Mile - Joshua Biddle Records 3rd Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Finishes 6th of 8 Racers After Engine Expires Late
5/12/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded a career-best finish in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series, recording a 3rd place finish in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series NorthernTool.com 250 at The Milwaukee Mile after starting 4th of 8 racers. Biddle would finish the race two laps down, but persistence and keeping the car clean proved once again to be a major factor in finishing in the top half of the small field. Danny Gutierrez ran well prior to losing an engine on lap 114 of 125, finishing in 6th place of 8 racers after starting 2nd.
Biddle remains in 6th place in the Nationwide Series driver standings (-496 of leader) and Gutierrez remains in 7th place (-524 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #8 of 19 - Copart 200 at the Milwaukee Mile - Joshua Biddle Records 2nd Place Finish of 5 Racers
5/11/2010 - Joshua Biddle recorded a career-best 2nd place finish in the Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Copart 200 at The Milwaukee Mile. Only five racers showed up to race, but Biddle recovered from an early spin out - and three additional spins - to finish the race in 2nd place four laps down, finishing in front of two of the racers who blew engines and one racer who was disconnected. "Things certainly didn't look good at first, but it just goes to show surviving out on the track and finishing races really benefits you in races and in the standings," said Biddle. Danny Gutierrez, unfortunately, was unable to beat traffic and make the race.
Biddle gains two spots in the Camping World Truck Series driver standings and now sits in 4th place (-270 of leader). Gutierrez remains in 7th place (-495 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #11 of 36 - Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway - Danny Gutierrez Leads Way for BBBS Motorsports With 12th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 20th out of 27 Racers
5/8/2010 - Danny Gutierrez finished the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Southern 500 at Darlington Raceway in 12th place out of 27 racers after starting 20th, while Joshua Biddle finished 20th out of 34 racers after starting 21st. Biddle struggled at Darlington and his car had substantial damage before the engine gave out on lap 241 of 367, but led three laps to help his points situation. Gutierrez finished the race one lap down on lap 366 of 367, finishing 4th place on Track B.
Even though Biddle had a poor finish, he fell only one spot in the Sprint Cup standings to 9th place (-673 of leader, +88 of 13th place). Gutierrez enjoyed a very good boost in the standings, gaining five positions to 13th place (-761 of leader) and remaining only 16 points out of the Chase for the Sprint Cup.
BBBS Motorsports, Inc. to Expand to Open Wheel, V8 Supercars Pending League Availability; To Remain in Nuff Racing League Regardless of iRacing/ARCA Sim Racing Move from Console
5/7/2010 - At a scheduled Sunday Morning presser, BBBS Motorsports, Inc. announced that they will be expanding their scope of racing into the realm of open wheel, planning to join an IndyCar and Formula 1 league for either rFactor or iRacing for the 2011 campaign. Also pending availability of leagues, the team also expressed their interest in racing V8 Supercars. "We're excited to make this announcement as it will be an exciting endeavor to conquer all of the types of racing that are out there. Our foremost focus remains on our NRL [Nuff Racing League] operation for this season, and expansion will not take away from that. We will insure that we field successful teams in whichever forms of racing we ultimately establish our presence in, so we are very excited to see what the future holds," said owner/driver/CEO Joshua Biddle.
Biddle also announced that the team plans to continue their run in the Nuff Racing League regardless of whether the league administration choose iRacing, ARCA Sim Racing, or both for the future of the league. "Regardless of what's chosen, we will certainly be there," said Biddle, "I'm sure the league office will choose what's in the best interest of the league as a whole, so we're excited to see which path is chosen."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #7 of 19 - Michigan 200 at Michigan International Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records Top Five Finish with 4th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 11th Place of 13 Racers
5/4/2010 - Danny Gutierrez was a splash of fuel away from winning the Michigan 200 at Michigan International Speedway, needing to stop for fuel and surrendering the lead with less than five laps to go in the race. Still, Gutierrez was able to finish 4th place one lap down to extend his streak of top fives to three consecutive Camping World Truck Series races. Gutierrez recovered after being involved in an early race incident and also tapped teammate Joshua Biddle after Biddle spun early in the race. After spinning, Biddle also spun through pit road after slowing to take his scheduled pit stop, forcing him to come back around to go through the pits. Biddle remained one lap down for the majority of the event and was only able to muster an 11th place finish, only finishing better than the two entries that experienced engine failure.
Biddle remains in 6th place in the Camping World Truck Series standings (-245 of leader) and Gutierrez remains in 7th place (-300 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #10 of 36 - Crown Royal 400 at Richmond International Raceway - Joshua Biddle Records First Career Sprint Cup Top Five Finish With 4th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Finishes 15th out of 28 Racers
5/1/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. enjoyed another successful day at the race track with both racers recording top 15 finishes at Richmond International Raceway in the Crown Royal 400. Joshua Biddle, in his tenth career Sprint Cup start, earned his first career Top 5 finish with his 3rd place finish at Richmond. "Our program with the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge has been very good on short tracks to date. Ran well at Richmond, a top 10 at Martinsville, ran very well before losing an engine at Bristol. We're finding a niche on these short tracks and I look forward to the next one!" said Joshua Biddle in his post race interview on pit road. Biddle finished second place on Track B, spinning late and costing himself a chance at a Track B win. Scoutchuck passed Biddle following the spin and as Biddle ran in third place with less than 15 laps to go, Haack23 - who was leading most of the race - spun allowing Biddle to pass for second place. A key moment in the race for Biddle was being able to keep from getting lapped by xX Chuck1979 Xx, who was about a half-straightaway from doing so. Biddle was able to pull away and would then benefit from a caution to stay on the lead lap, which he did all day. Danny Gutierrez finished in 15th place after a 3rd place Track C finish, finishing four laps down.
Biddle's 3rd place finish propelled him from 13th place to 8th place (-586 of leader) in the Sprint Cup standings, with Gutierrez staying in 18th place (-698 of leader; -84 of 12th place).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #9 of 36 - Aarons 499 at Talladega Superspeedway - Joshua Biddle Limps To A 17th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Victim of Technical Issues, Finishes 36th Place Out of 40 Drivers
4/24/2010 - Joshua Biddle managed a 17th place finish after starting 31st in the Aarons 499 Sprint Cup Series event at Talladega Superspeedway. After sustaining damage on Track C, the room shut down abruptly with Biddle running as the first car one lap down. With the restart treated like a caution, Biddle received the "Lucky Dog" and became the fourth car on the lead lap on Track C. After leading a lap on the restart, Biddle would end up being turned and sustained major damage. A late caution while nearly getting lapped would act as good damage control, and Biddle would end up finishing the race one lap down when it could have been as many as two or three without the cautions. Danny Gutierrez's 36th place finish was another fluke that was out of his control as his X-Box froze. "Always frustrating when things outside of one's control dictate the finish, but all we can do as a team is pack it up and get ready for Richmond," said owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "we're not the only ones who will endure hardship so how we respond in future races will be the determining factor regarding the state of our team."
Biddle loses one spot in the Sprint Cup standings, falling to 13th (-632 of leader; -9 of 12th place) and out of position for a Chase berth. Gutierrez loses five positions, dropping to 18th (-697 of leader; -74 of 12th place).

4/21/2010 - Danny Gutierrez had a great run at Charlotte Motor Speedway, finishing 3rd of 15 in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series Carquest Auto Parts 300, though Joshua Biddle struggled for the second consecutive day at Charlotte, crashing out on lap 33 of 100 and finishing 14th of 15 racers. "It's been hell the past two events here at Charlotte," said Joshua Biddle as he was interviewed following the accident that took him out of the race, "I struggled here immensely and I'm frustrated with my performance. We come here soon in Sprint Cup so I need to get things straightened out by then." To the contrary, Gutierrez continues his impressive run in the Nationwide Series, recording his 6th top-five finish in 9 Nationwide races in which he has participated, the second highest top-five percentage among racers who have participated in at least half of the Nationwide Series events (six races).
Biddle stays in 6th place in the Nationwide Series standings (-466 of leader) and Gutierrez stays in 7th place (-484 of leader)
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #6 of 19 - North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records 5th Place, Top-Five Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 13th of 14 Racers
4/20/2010 - Danny Gutierrez recorded a fifth-place, top five finish in the NRL/FNTS Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 at Charlotte Motor Speedway after starting 2nd, helping to ease the pain of Joshua Biddle's horrid 13th place finish of 14 racers after starting 13th. Biddle exited late after crashing out in a single-car accident on lap 58 of 67, ending a frustrating day in which 11 racers finished on the lead lap. Gutierrez's top-five finish is his third in four Camping World Truck Series events.
Biddle stays in 6th place in the Camping World Truck Series standings (-229 of leader) while Gutierrez gains 2 positions to 7th in the standings (-319 of leader).

Gutierrez's 2nd place finish came with a Track B win in which he lapped the field; race winner DaleReynolds24 also lapped the field on Track A, paving the way for Gutierrez to post the best finish of a Track B winner in Sprint Cup this season. Gutierrez's 2nd place finish is the best finish in BBBS Motorsports' history in the Sprint Cup Series and also the team's first top-five finish in Sprint Cup. "Today was a great day to be a fan of BBBS Motorsports" said owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "Danny really made the team proud today and hopefully this is finally a sign that his wretched luck is finally turning around."

"I'm happy that I've been running at the finish in these races," owner/driver Joshua Biddle said, "but at some point I need to
push these mediocre finishes to top-tens if I'm to have any shot at the Chase."

4/7/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. struggled in the Helluva Good! 200 NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series event at Dover International Speedway with Danny Gutierrez finishing 13th and Joshua Biddle finishing 17th of 19 racers. Biddle was the third victim of the Monster Mile, spinning and crashing into the inside retainer which resulted in severe damage to the #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge Charger on lap 54 of 100. Gutierrez was involved in a lap 82 accident after being knocked into the wall by J MAN IZ PRO, eventually drifting down the track and making major contact with FreshNJG24, who was in contention and running on the lead lap. All three cars were taken to the garage and would not return to the race.
Gutierrez said he "felt bad" about FreshNJG24 being taken out of the race after being checked and released from the infield care center. Biddle expressed disappointment that his race ended early for the second consecutive race at his home track, saying "I'm frustrated with the fact that I wasn't able to be competitive at Dover. I've always struggled here and I only hope that the experiences here in Nationwide and the trucks are enough to prepare me for the Sprint Cup race here."

Gutierrez recorded his second top-five finish out of three Camping World Truck Series events in which he has participated. Although Biddle finished 7th, Biddle spun and wrecked out on lap 52 of 100, completing just over 50% of the event's laps. "I certainly wish I would have been more of a factor for the fans of BBBS Motorsports," said owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "but at least Danny was able to make it a memorable day with his top-five finish."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #10 of 30 - Diamond Hill Plywood 200 at Darlington Raceway - Danny Gutierrez Earns 2nd Place Finish; Joshua Biddle Finishes 10th of 18 Racers
3/31/2010 - Danny Gutierrez recorded a stellar 2nd place finish out of 18 racers in the Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Diamond Hill Plywood 200 at Darlington Raceway, also leading 19 of 74 laps. Purity52 made a call for two tires on the final pit stop versus Gutierrez's four-tire call, and that call was enough for Purity52 to hold off the charging Gutierrez and earn his first Nationwide Series win of the season. Joshua Biddle led the first six laps on Track B before spinning multiple times, ultimately finishing the race five laps down in 10th place of 18 racers.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #6 of 36 - Goody's Cool Orange 500 at Martinsville Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records BBBS Motorsports' First Sprint Cup Top 10 Finish with 10th Place Finish; Danny Gutierrez Finishes 18th out of 34 Racers

"It's a great feeling," owner/driver Biddle said in his brief post-race pit road interview, "to go from the bottom of the pack to finishing in the top 10, it's a big morale booster for the #76 team. I want to thank my teammate Danny, with whom this wouldn't have been possible, as well as my sponsors SpongeBob Squarepants, Nickelodeon, and Crossing Oceans." Biddle and Gutierrez both had plenty of damage on their cars as the race had well over 20 caution flags for numerous crashes and spins. Biddle, fortunately, avoided significant damage until late in the race when he crashed into the right front of the car of redeyedtiger23, who had spun and come to rest at the inside of a turn. The #76 crew did a superb job of fixing the car and making it driveable for the stretch run. Gutierrez lost his engine on lap 441 of 500 after enduring significant damage.
Biddle gains 9 positions in the Sprint Cup standings to a tie for 17th with Kapalua2483 (-396 of leader) and Gutierrez gains 5 positions to 23rd (-457 of leader).

On Track A, Gutierrez sustained damage after a three-wide encounter where Purity52 reportedly cut down and sent both Gutierrez and another car into the wall hard; Purity52 would finish 2nd in the race. Gutierrez and Purity52 exchanged words during and after the race following the on-track encounter. On Track B, Biddle was running in 3rd place most of the day, battling with MiamiCanes2010 for 2nd place, but MiamiCanes2010 was able to pull away after the final pit stop where Biddle was pinned from entering pit road due to a single car spin by bb3537, who came to rest near the entrance to pit road. Biddle would end up finishing 3rd on Track B.
Biddle stays in 7th place in the Nationwide Series standings (-517 of leader) and Gutierrez stays in 8th place (-637 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #5 of 36 - Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway - BBBS Motorsports' Engines Expire: Danny Gutierrez Finishes 25th Place; Joshua Biddle 28th of 42 Racers
3/20/2010 - Bad luck continued in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. with both Danny Gutierrez and Joshua Biddle suffering from engine failures. Gutierrez finished in 25th place after starting in the 16th position and Biddle finished in 28th place after starting in the 38th position. Biddle was running in 3rd place of 14 on Track C (lap 218) when his engine blew following what is believed to be a failure to upshift from 3rd to 4th gear on a restart. Biddle's #76 SpongeBob Squarepants/Nickelodeon Dodge Charger was heavily damaged following contact with the wall and getting a piece of LON3S7AR IZ TCR's #4 Chevrolet after he tagged the wall and slid down the banking. Gutierrez was involved in an accident after a multi-car pileup and the damage had a severe impact on the engine as the internal car temperatures were significantly higher, and as a result, the engine would give out on lap 340.
Biddle moves up one spot to 23rd place in the Sprint Cup standings (-435 of leader); Gutierrez stays in 28th place (-471 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Food City 500 Qualifying: Danny Gutierrez Qualifies 15th of 47 Racers; Joshua Biddle May Not Make the 42 Car Field After Qualifying Effort
3/19/2010 - Danny Gutierrez posted a solid 14.832 qualifying time during qualifying for the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway, good enough for 15th overall out of 49 qualifiers and a Track B berth. Joshua Biddle will have to wait and see what happens on race day to see whether or not he will earn a provisional position after qualifying 42nd with a 15.232. Dart88, who qualified 43rd overall with a 15.269, is locked into the race after his Track C victory two weeks ago in the Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, making Biddle the first car excluded from the projected 42-car field. If any racer in the projected field does not show up to race or is not signed onto X-Box Live by the check-in time of 7:30 pm, the provisional positions (43 or below) are eligible to race. "We're nervous right now," Biddle said in reference to his #76 team, "the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants/Nickelodeon Dodge Charger was alright in practice, but we definitely didn't put up when it was our turn to qualify. The rest is out of our hands so we will just have to wait and see what happens."

Danny Gutierrez had a solid run and had worked his way up to third place by short pitting, but the risk did not pay off as he ran out of fuel on lap 82 of the 84 lap event. Joshua Biddle made contact with the wall early and endured damage to his truck, but was still able to finish the race one lap down, which was a better showing than many other races where his vehicle sustained damage.
Biddle remains in 8th place in the Camping World Truck Series standings (-295 of leader) and Gutierrez moves up 2 spots to 12th place (-425 of leader).
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #7 of 30 - O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway - Black Flag Steals Potential Win Away From Danny Gutierrez, Finishes 3rd Place; Joshua Biddle Finishes 9th of 14 Racers
3/10/2010 - A speeding penalty for being 1 MPH over the 45 MPH pit road speed limit kept Danny Gutierrez from winning the O-Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway, but it did not keep him from recording another top five finish, finishing 3rd out of 14 racers in Wednesday's event after starting 4th. The black flag occurred on the second round of pit stops, but a stellar rally at the end of the race was enough to secure a 3rd place finish. Gutierrez managed 14 laps led and was the first car one lap down to finish. Meanwhile, Joshua Biddle struggled again and nearly caused a catastrophic accident when he cut down to pit road and nearly took out his teammate, Gutierrez. Biddle spun three times but was able to stay out the racing groove each time so no caution was called. He finished 9th of 14 racers after starting 8th.
Biddle stays at 7th place (-420 of leader) in the Nationwide Series standings and Gutierrez moves up three spots to 9th (-565 of leader) in the standings.
The next Nationwide Series event will be the Aarons 312 at Talladega Superspeedway on March 17th with a 9pm start time.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #4 of 36 - Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway - More Unfortunate Occurrences for BBBS Motorsports as Joshua Biddle Finishes in 30th Place; Danny Gutierrez 33rd Place of 42 Racers
3/6/2010 - It has been a rough couple weeks for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. in the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series and the downtrend continued Saturday
night, with Joshua Biddle finishing 30th of 42 racers after starting 31st and Danny Gutierrez finishing 33rd of 42 after starting 30th in the Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Gutierrez was the unfortunate victim of yet another disconnection while running very well, leading 67 of the 108 laps he completed. Biddle, however, completed only 151 of the scheduled 325 laps after the Track C event was red flagged due to disconnections. A misunderstanding on the track resulted in several racers disconnecting following a red flag, one of which was Biddle, who was 13 laps down at the time. The issue resulted in a heated debate on the Nuff Racing League forums and several tempers flairing. In regards to the situation, Biddle said "I doubted we'd be able to just double the laps completed because people who were disconnected or knocked out as a result of accident or engine trouble from lap 165 on would be screwed over. Therefore, I wasn't surprised by the result. I was 13 laps down at the time and my teammate had been disconnected while having a dominant performance, so I wasn't in the best mindset at that moment. The #76 SpongeBob Squarepants/Nickelodeon Dodge Charger was heavily damaged and the lap deficit was significant so even if we had stayed, we're probably looking at a ten position improvement as a best case scenario. Even though I struggled, I would have liked to finish the race, but I don't think that the situation really hurt our team per se, but I certainly do feel bad for those that were affected, primarily Marc Watson, whose sensational performance on Track C should not go unnoticed."
With their finishes, Biddle drops three spots in the Sprint Cup standings to 24th (-385 of leader) and Gutierrez moves up one spot to 28th (-430 of leader).
The team hopes for better things at the next Sprint Cup series race, which is the Food City 500 at Bristol Motor Speedway (8pm est)
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #6 of 30 - Bashas Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway - Danny Gutierrez Registers 6th Place Finish After Track B WIN; Joshua Biddle 11th Place of 15 Racers
3/3/2010 - Danny Gutierrez continued his solid streak of being a contender in any race he runs in any series, finishing 6th of 15 racers in the Bashas Supermarkets 200 Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series race after starting 11th, winning Track B. Gutierrez edged out other Track B contenders Scoutchuck and Dueceydueceydu to earn his second Track B win of the 2010 Nationwide season. Joshua Biddle struggled in his #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge after sustaining damage from multiple impacts with the wall, which resulted in a few spin-outs and nearly forced Biddle to park the car. Gutierrez instructed Biddle to make specific adjustments, which were enough to keep the car from spinning out, allowing Biddle to finish 11th, scored seven laps down. On the race, owner/driver Biddle said "it's awesome to see another Track B win for BBBS Motorsports thanks to Danny. He's been instrumental in the early success this team has accomplished and it's great to know BBBS Motorsports engines are more than certainly capable of winning events. I still have work to do to live up to the potential that these engines are more than capable of running. Danny is heavily involved in the engine building process and the setup process, so again, I can't emphasize enough the appreciation our team has for him coming aboard."
The next Nationwide Series race is the O'Reilly 300 at Texas Motor Speedway on March 10th at 9pm.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #3 of 36 - Shelby 427 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway - Joshua Biddle Records 26th Place Finish, Danny Gutierrez 29th Place of 38 Racers
2/27/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. struggled in the Shelby 427 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway Saturday night, with Joshua Biddle finishing 26th of 38 after starting 29th and Danny Gutierrez finishing 29th of 38 after starting 15th. Biddle's #76 SpongeBob Squarepants/Nickelodeon Dodge Charger was destroyed after spinning into the outside wall on lap 142, drifting down the track, and then being T-boned by TurdIFerguson who had nowhere to go. TurdIFerguson's car was also destroyed in the accident. Biddle was scored as having completed 140 of the 267 laps. More frustrating was the day of Gutierrez, who had a very solid run in his #45 Adam Petty Memorial Dodge Charger prior to a storm taking out his power, resulting in a disconnection. Gutierrez was scored as having completed 123 laps of the 267 laps, also having led 43 laps for five bonus points in the standings.
The next Sprint Cup event will be the Kobalt Tools 500 at Atlanta Motor Speedway, which will take place on March 6th at 8pm.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #5 of 30 - Lorens Pool Supply 200 at Chicago Pier - Danny Gutierrez WINS the NRL/FNTS Lorens Pool Supply 200!!!!! Joshua Biddle WINS Track B, Earns 5th Place Finish of 17 Racers
2/24/2010 - Danny Gutierrez won the Lorens Pool Supply 200 Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series race at the Chicago Pier road
course. After bulldawg45 was disconnected after leading 59 laps of the 90 lap event, Gutierrez was there to lead the final six laps to the finish. On Track
B, Joshua Biddle had his best career showing, winning the track after leading 50 laps - the first laps led of his Nationwide Series career - finishing the race 5th
overall after the merger. This was also Biddle's first Nationwide top five finish. "BBBS Motorsports' sweep at Chicago Pier was great, winning both tracks and
ultimately winning the event thanks to Danny's great performance" Biddle said, "this is a special day for the team."
The next Nationwide race will be the Bashas Supermarkets 200 at Phoenix International Raceway.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #2 of 36 - Auto Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway - Joshua Biddle Recovers From Dismal Daytona 500 With 13th Place Finish of 39 Racers
2/20/2010 - Joshua Biddle and his #76 Dodge team recovered nicely following a 32nd place finish in the Daytona 500, finishing 13th out of 39 drivers in the Auto
Club 500 at Auto Club Speedway, the second points race for the 2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup season. Biddle's solid run came after qualifying relatively
poorly, starting 27th in the 39-car field. Teammate Danny Gutierrez had a planned absence from the event, but he did prequalify which gives him 25 points towards the Sprint Cup standings. Biddle finished the race one lap down after being as far as three laps down. A few 'lucky dogs' helped him to overcome the lap deficit generated by a slow setup. "I probably had a good enough setup to run competitively to begin with, but I tinkered with it during qualifying and got it a bit faster and I just left it that way. My inexperience probably made it much, much slower in the longer runs and I think the setup had too negative an impact on the tires over that stretch," Biddle said, "finishing in the upper third of the field is still pretty cool and so much better than the disappointment that was the Daytona 500."
Biddle struggled early and often and sustained hindering damage after making heavy contact with the turn four wall coming off of the corner. An eventual restart due to disconnections restored the car's condition, but the setup remained too much of an obstacle to overcome. Still, the race represented Biddle's first running at the finish in a Sprint Cup Series event (and fourth consecutive race counting races in the NRL/FNTS Nationwide and Camping World Truck Series); a cornerstone for posting respectable finishes. Biddle commented, "we've seen several cars wrecked out, several suffering engine failure, and several disconnections over the course of my short career, so keeping your car on the track and out of harm's way goes a long way in recording solid finishes. Even if you're a few laps down or whatever, riding it out seems to be more beneficial than not in the points standings."
BBBS Motorsports, Inc. will pack the cars up and travel northeast to Las Vegas for Saturday's Shelby 427.
ChampIsHere42 Released; Third Driver Still in Play???
2/18/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. announced that the team has terminated the Nationwide Series contract of ChampIsHere42 on Friday morning after the team's third driver went AWOL. "We just never heard from him again" laughed owner/driver Joshua Biddle, "so why would we pay him?"
With the departure of ChampIsHere42, who never raced for the team, the question is whether the extra funds saved by the team will result in a third driver being hired. There are still some solid free agent drivers on the market who may be willing to sign. On that possibility, Biddle commented "we will evaluate our position and determine what is best moving forward. We are open-minded and will listen to any and all opportunities that arise, but we certainly have not committed to anything at this point. I'm sure you'll be the first to know."
The small-scale, two-car operation that is BBBS Motorsports has raced well given the team being a start up, having two rookies at the wheel, and having no affiliations with any of the Nuff Racing League's top teams. "We're an underdog and that's a fun thing" Biddle said, "you never know when someone on this team will bite you. Not literally."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #4 of 30 - Scotts Turf Builder 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records BBBS Motorsports' First Top-Five Finish in NRL/FNTS Nationwide Series with 4th Place Finish at Bristol via Track B Win; Joshua Biddle 10th Place of 17 Racers
2/17/2010 - The Scotts Turf Builder 300 at Bristol Motor Speedway became another historical event for BBBS Motorsports, Inc., with the team recording its first top five finish in the Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series and recording its first Track B victory, with Danny Gutierrez taking the checkered flag in Track B and finishing 4th overall out of 17 drivers after starting 11th. "Awesome job by Danny out there" said Joshua Biddle, owner/driver of the #76 Cesar/Petsmart Dodge, "he recovered from early trouble and really made the most out of it. Very proud!"
Gutierrez blew a tire early in the race, sending him to the pits early and putting him down two laps. He was able to use pit strategy to recover the laps and a few cautions were the remedy necessary for the most exciting finish in BBBS Motorsports' young history.
Biddle finished 10th of 17 cars after starting 16th, running at the finish for his second consecutive race and finished down two laps. He held onto the lead lap all day prior to two late spins that were out of the racing groove, with no cautions being called. "I really struggled in practice since I had little experience at Bristol" Biddle said, "I held on to the thing longer than I expected so I'm okay with how I ran."
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #3 of 19 - Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway - BBBS Motorsports' Danny Gutierrez Records Team's First Top-Five Finish with 3rd Place Finish at Martinsville; Joshua Biddle Finishes 6th Place of 14 Racers
2/16/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. shined in Tuesday night's Kroger 250 at Martinsville Speedway with Danny Gutierrez finishing 3rd out of 14 cars and Joshua Biddle finishing 6th out of 14 cars. Gutierrez's 3rd place finish marks the first top-five finish in BBBS Motorsports' history in any series. Gutierrez finished the race as the final car on the lead lap, also leading one lap in the race; Biddle finished the race five laps down, but this was the first race in Biddle's career in any series in which he was running at the finish.
2010 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Race #1 of 36 - Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway - Danny Gutierrez Records 13th Place Finish; Joshua Biddle 32nd Place of 39 Racers
2/13/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s two entries in the Nuff Racing League's Daytona 500 at Daytona International Speedway finished 13th and 32nd place
respectively, with Danny Gutierrez piloting the #45 American Spirit/Victory Junction Gang Camp Dodge Charger to an excellent 13th place finish and owner/driver Joshua Biddle piloting the #76 SpongeBob Squarepants/Nickelodeon Dodge Charger to a 32nd place finish. Biddle ran well prior to losing his engine on lap 80, running in the top five of Track B all day. He was in fourth position on Track B at the time of his engine expiring. Gutierrez finished fifth on Track B after running in the top five most of the day. Gutierrez was able to finish significantly higher than his start position, which capped a successful campaign. On the performances, Biddle said, "I wish I would have had a better performance, but we're proud to have a car ever so close to a top ten. Not a bad debut in the Nuff Racing League at all!"
Gutierrez will not race at Auto Club Speedway, but he is expected to prequalify to receive points for the race. He will return at Las Vegas
2010 Daytona 500 Gatorade Duel Results / Starting Grid: Danny Gutierrez 20th Place (Track B) and Joshua Biddle 24th Place (Track B) For Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Daytona 500
2/12/2010 - The Daytona Twin 150 Duels were conducted on Friday evening to determine the starting order and track assignments for the Nuff Racing League
Daytona 500. In Duel #1, Joshua Biddle and his #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge lost the draft and would finish the race two laps down, finishing 14th of 19
racers. In Duel #2, Danny Gutierrez finished 11th of 18 racers in his #45 Adam Petty Memorial/American Spirit Motor Oil Dodge. Gutierrez will start 20th (Track B), and Biddle will start 24th (Track B) in the Nuff Racing League Daytona 500, which takes place Saturday night at 8pm est.
Daytona 500 Qualifying: Danny Gutierrez 4th Place (48.056); Joshua Biddle 33rd Place (48.262) of 45 Racers
2/12/2010 - Danny Gutierrez was the big winner for BBBS Motorsports, Inc. Sunday as he qualified 4th out of 45 Nuffers with a superb 48.056, putting him on
Track A of Gatorade Duel #2. Joshua Biddle, owner/driver of the #76, will be on Track B of Gatorade Duel #1 after qualifying 33rd with a 48.262. On his
performance, Biddle said "I'm disappointed with my lap time. I don't know if I just wasn't hitting my line or what but I got down as low 48.11 while running mock
qualifying laps, but something didn't translate." On the performance of his teammate, Biddle said "Danny did a great job and I'm absolutely thrilled to have a guy
like him on this team. Even if he qualified last, he's very fun to work with and he knows what he's talking about from a mechanical perspective in terms of car
setups. I've already learned a lot from him."
The Gatorade Duels will run at 8pm tonight, Friday 2/12.
Discjockey Motorsports Merges With Udda Mudda Fuddas Motorsports
2/10/2010 - Discjockey Motorsports has merged within Udda Mudda Fuddas Motorsports and now ceases to exist as Discjockey24 has joined one of the Nuff Racing League's large scale teams. "We're very happy for Discjockey" said owner/driver Joshua Biddle in a statement, "the large scale teams are more likely to bring the very best out of their drivers, so it's a very good move for him."
This development brings an end to the agreement between BBBS Motorsports, Inc. and Discjockey Motorsports.
2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series Race #2 of 19 - America Commercial Lines 200 at Atlanta Motor Speedway - Joshua Biddle Finishes 9th of 14 Racers
2/9/2010 - Joshua Biddle qualified 12th out of 14 trucks in Tuesday night's race at Atlanta Motor Speedway in his Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Camping World Truck Series debut. BBBS Motorsports' Joshua Biddle, Danny Gutierrez Fail to Qualify for Bud Shootout
2/6/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. drivers Joshua Biddle & Danny Gutierrez both failed to qualify for the four available wild card slots in the 2010 Nuff Racing
League Bud Shootout. Two pre-shootout heats were conducted with neither of the BBBS Motorsports' cars coming home in the top two of their respective heats.
"I'm disappointed, but we're just happy to be out on the track and hopefully we'll improve as the season goes on" said a flustered Biddle, "we're doing our best out there, and unfortunately, that wasn't good enough tonight."
In the first heat, Texas Iz TCR had words for Biddle after Biddle was unable to bump draft with him to make a run for the wildcard. After the race, a frustrated Biddle fired back to a reporter when asked for comment on the incident, "who cares what he said, he's a [flippin'] nobody. His teammate, Miami iz TCR, actually performs in races, so if he said something I'd at least respect his opinion. Instead of flapping his gums and acting as though he's a baby who needs a rattle and a pacifier, maybe he should focus on a better car setup or improving his driving so he isn't in the back and reliant on an inexperienced rookie's help. And you can write that down."
BBBS Motorsports Unveils #45 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series Paint Scheme

2/5/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. unveiled the paint scheme for Danny Gutierrez's #45 Sprint Cup car on Friday morning, just in time for the 2010 Bud Shootout. The paint scheme is a vintage American Spirit/Victory Junction Gang Camp car that represents the memory of Adam Petty. "Adam Petty was a great young man who was taken far too soon, so we thought this was a chance to honor his memory and promote the Victory Junction Gang Camp, which was his vision."
Petty died at age 19 following a crash into the turn three wall at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, with the cause of the accident having been determined to be a stuck throttle. Ironically, Kenny Irwin, Jr. would die in an accident less than two months after Petty at the same track, crashing into the wall at nearly the exact spot as Petty, and a stuck throttle being the cause.
Petty often visited sick children in the hospital and always dreamed of building a camp for children with special needs to allow them, and their families, to have fun.

2/3/2010 - Joshua Biddle performed poorly again, this time at Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the third race of the Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series season, the Sams Town 300. BBBS Motorsports Unveils #76 SpongeBob Squarepants Dodge Charger for the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series

2010 Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series Nationwide Series Race #2 of 30 - Stator Bros. 300 at Auto Club Speedway - Joshua Biddle, #76 Team Finishes 9th of 13 Racers in BBBS Motorsports' Debut
1/28/2010 - Joshua Biddle made his Nationwide Series debut for the Nuff Racing League/Friday Night Thunder Series Wednesday night at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California - the second race of the Nationwide Series season. Biddle qualified 11th out of 13 entries, running in the 38.7 second range, while the polesitter - Kapalua2483 - dominated with a superb 37.58 second qualifying run. Kapalua2483 would win the race and lead 72 of 75 laps on his way to his first career Nationwide Series win. Early in the race, Biddle would spin into the outside retaining wall, sustaining damage to the left rear of his Dodge Charger, which would adversely affect the car for the remainder of the race. Biddle was able to get the car out of the racing groove prior to traffic approaching, avoiding a caution
flag. In the middle of the race, as Biddle and his #76 were slowing to make their second green flag pit stop, the car once again got around on him. With Biddle being the last of the group to make the pit stop, nobody was nearby and no caution was necessary. Biddle, however, did avoid a near disaster as a car made contact with the outside retaining wall on the back straightaway, got loose, and traveled to the inside of the track while Biddle was going low; Biddle turned into the grass and got the car slowed enough to only make slight contact (right front fender), coming away with little damage when it could have been catastrophic. While five laps down, on his third green flag pit stop, a pit adjustment caused overheating and the engine blew on lap 58 of 75. Biddle finished 10th out of 13 drivers, finishing ahead of Purity52 (accident), Miami Iz TCR (engine), and delcampo555 (accident). Following the race, Biddle was promoted to 9th place as TnTzuidema, who started the race in 7th place and finished in 8th place, was disqualified for failing to register on the Nuff Racing League page.
"Well, we sucked today, even before the car was damaged" said Biddle, who ranked last in fastest lap time, "at least we didn't cause any trouble on the race track for the contenders." Biddle said with a smile, "we did get a top ten though!", clearly showing his sarcastic side.
This was Biddle's first league-sanctioned race, and although a little disappointed, he was not surprised that the competition was fierce. "Obviously, we still have plenty of work to do, but we will be contenders at some point in this league. That's a guarantee. We're driving full-time in three series so the increased seat time combined with teammates to work with and learn from, we'll get there. I'm disappointed, but certainly not discouraged."
BBBS Motorsports Signs ChampIsHere42 To Drive #28
1/27/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. called a 9AM press conference Wednesday morning to formally announce the hiring of free agent rookie driver ChampIsHere42 to drive the #28 for the Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup Series. "We're absolutely thrilled to have Champ aboard and we welcome him into the
BBBS Motorsports family, on behalf of everyone from our organization & Discjockey Motorsports' operation." The paint scheme for the #28 is expected to be rolled out very soon, as are the paint schemes of the #76 and #45 Sprint Cup cars.
ChampIsHere42 is expected to make his debut in the #28 at the Daytona 500.
Joshua Biddle, #76 Team To Make Nuff Racing League / Friday Night Thunder Series (FNTS) Camping World Truck Series Debut at Atlanta & FNTS Nationwide Series Debut at Fontana; Potential Third Car for Sprint Cup Team?
1/26/2010 - Joshua Biddle will make his first Nationwide series start for the FNTS on Wednesday, January 27th, at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana, California, also announcing that the team's Camping World Truck Series debut will be on Tuesday, February 9th at Atlanta Motor Speedway. "We're excited to get out on the track and get some valuable experience," Biddle said, "I wish we would have been able to race last week at Daytona."
In addition to this announcement, rampant speculation around BBBS Motorsports, Inc.'s Wilmington, Delaware shop is centered around a potential third car being added to the two-car Sprint Cup stable. Biddle would not release names, but did say "we have spoken with numerous drivers and we remain noncommittal at this point in time." It remains unlikely that the team will add another team once the season has commenced.
Golden Tabbed As Crew Chief for #45 Team
1/25/2010 - #76 team gasman Russell Golden has been tabbed as the crew chief for the #45 Nuff Racing League Sprint Cup car of Danny Gutierrez. Golden, who was surprised by the promotion, didn't realize he was in consideration for the vacancy until he was offered the job. "I didn't realize you could go from gas man to crew chief" said Golden, when reached for comment.
BBBS Motorsports, Inc. has planned a Wednesday press conference, in which another high-profile announcement is expected to be made. Speculation remains that both Sprint Cup paint schemes of the #76 and #45 cars will be announced by the end of the week.
BBBS Motorsports Announces Alliance With Discjockey Motorsports

1/22/2010 - BBBS Motorsports, Inc. announced on Friday morning that the
organization has reached an agreement with Discjockey Motorsports for a joint venture arrangement that will allow the two teams to share technical resources and function as on-track teammates. The agreement comes just two weeks before the Bud Shootout and three weeks before the Nuff Racing League's season opening Daytona 500. On the agreement, BBBS Motorsports owner/driver Joshua Biddle said "we're thrilled to have reached an agreement like this with another small team. We were certainly concerned with the development of our start up race team and securing the resources of a successful owner/driver really helps ease some of the hassles that exist in the realm of being competitive."
Discjockey Motorsports is owned by owner/driver Discjockey24, who drives the #96 Hooters Chevrolet Impala. Discjockey has 18 career starts in the NRL Sprint Cup Series, running a part-time schedule in 2008 (8 starts, 11.4 average start, 9.4 average finish, 2 top 5s, and 5 top 10s) and 2009 (10 starts, 27.3 average start, 21.5 average finish). More importantly, Discjockey24 has run full time in the NRL Pure SIM Series - the league's exclusive, most challenging series - and has 3 wins in that series.
On the accomplishments of Discjockey24, Biddle commented "it's great to be
working with a proven winner. Beggars can't be choosers and we would have
been happy to enlist the help of anybody, but we're very fortunate to have a driver like Discjockey24 to work with. It's exciting!"
On the agreement, Discjockey24 said "Its gonna be fun. As one of the original racers in the league im glad to be teaming up with an up and comer. I'm looking
forward to returning to the Sprint Cup. I plan to remain full time in the Pure Sim Series as well representing the BBBS half of the team as well as my own."
Biddle also expressed happiness in working with a Chevrolet operation, as it was a tough decision for BBBS Motorsports to choose Dodge over Chevy. Due to the make differences, both companies will use their make's respective engines, but Discjockey Motorsports' engineers will be relied upon heavily in building and
working with BBBS Motorsports' cars and chassis.
Discjockey24, Biddle, and Danny Gutierrez all plan on qualifying and racing in the Daytona 500.

BBBS Motorsports Unveils Nationwide Paint Scheme; Reveals Cesar, Petsmart as Primary Sponsors

1/7/2010 - In their first announcement of 2010, BBBS Motorsports, Inc. announced their Nationwide #76 Dodge Charger will be sponsored by Cesar dog food &
Petsmart. BBBS Motorsports plans to run the #76 for the full season in the Nationwide Series. "We're thrilled to have two dog-related sponsors aboard and proudly displayed on our car. Socky Bear is proud" said Joshua Biddle via conference call, referring to his dog Socky, the former owner of the PFL's Ocean City
Hammerheads.
BBBS Motorsports is scheduled to unveil their Sprint Cup paint scheme for the #76 later this month.
